MANCHESTER WELSH KC 17 Judge: Mrs P Blay BEST OF BREED : 5022 CARTER Mr K Ch Digelsa Declaration MANCHESTER JUDGE WELSH KC 17 VD (1) 1 Olbinson and Kelly's Pauelin Andoni at Carapast, masculine dog who is over 7 years old and is carrying it well, masculine head, the noise in the hall made his ears unsettled but I am sure on another day his ears are correct. Well balanced with enough neck and a good topline, excellent front action from well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, alone but showed well. RCC and Best veteran in breed. PGD (2) 1 Holmes' Egloshayle Black Dylan, not a small dog but a good make and shape, moved OK when he settled giving good profile movement and correct front action, good croup and tailset, good neck and shoulders, head of the correct proportions and ears OK when he settled, good depth of chest. 2 Atkinson's Trueflow Bit Little, an appropriate name for he needs to grow on as he is only 18 months old, needs to body up and fill his frame, needs that size and shape to make him more masculine, in movement he still needs to settle and tighten up as he is wide in front but he showed well and has a good shaped eye and ears not too loose. OD (2,1) 1 Carter's Ch Digelsa Declaration, although alone in the class, he is certainly a dog to be reckoned with, he is quality with a masculine head and expression, beautiful ears which are well placed and carried correctly, lovely body proportions and moved so well, looking purposeful in profile with excellent head carriage and correct forelimb position, well boned legs and feet, excellent neck and shoulders, topline and tailset, a showdog who continued in the group and made the shortlist. CC and BOB. MPB (3) 1 Knight's Talanors Typically Special, only 6 months old but has scope and when she settled she had a lovely outline, so very typical of the breed, very feminine in head, lovely front construction, good topline and tailset, enough bone, good markings and lovely feet, moved well but again was a bit hesitant in the noisy ring. Showed so well for one so young. 2 Olbinson and Kelly's Rattustrap Citra at Carapast, slightly larger bitch but still within the Standard, feminine head and expression with excellent ear carriage, a good type with a good neck and shoulders, correct topline and well set and carried tail, still loose in front in movement but looked very typical in profile movement. 3 Gallie and Palmer's Egloshaye Sirena. PB (1) 1 Knight's Talanors Diamond Treat, quality pup who is half sister to MPB winner and that same quality, in fact they and the BOB are all out of the same sire, balanced pup who is very well made and a lovely size too, very feminine in outlook yet still looks as if she could do the job she was bred for, again took time to settle in movement but she is well constructed and when she finishes, she will be fine, very feminine in head and expression but again the noise put her off using her ears but these settled by the challenge. BP. JB (1) 1 Saville's Simjest Back To Black by Dobermatian, this young bitch really grew on me the more I saw her, she was alone in the class but she could win anywhere, she is very typical and top quality, this pretty bitch had a mind of her own, lovely size and shape, well carried ears on a feminine head which was well proportioned with lovely eyes giving an excellent expression, good hindquarters with no weakness, good depth of chest and she was just right for age. Moved better in the challenge and I could not resist her for type and I gave her the CC. LB (2) 1 Marshall's Talanors Treat Me Special at Jepejo, another from the same stud dog and a repeat mating of the MPB. Not a small bitch but she is well proportioned and she has a good neck and shoulders, good topline and well set and carried tail, good body condition, good ribcage and loin, good bone and feet and well marked. Feminine head with a good earset and carriage, moved OK when she settled. RCC. 2 Walker's Talanors Treat Me Good at Sizlin, litter sister and slightly smaller although but still within the Standard, lovely head and expression, enough bone and size, moved a bit erratic in front but she is balanced and a good type, bet these two tussle on a regular occasion. OB (4,1) 1 Barlow's Nightfury Bold Venture, quality girl of a good shape, again a neat bitch with a look of determination in her feminine head, well carried ears, good neck and shoulders, excellent topline and tailset, moved well on well boned legs and feet, good markings and a lovely depth and width of chest, good hindquarters. 2 Oxley's Digelsa D'Amour, another quality bitch who on the day just needed a touch more weight to finish the picture, she wasn't happy on the table and this also affected her movement, the hall was so noisy and I was surprised how much this affected the breed. Feminine head and expression with ears to die for, excellent body proportions but she just needs to fill in the frame to complete the picture. 3 Brander's Nightstorms Miss Chevious at Menfreya.
