MANCHESTER WELKS 10 Judge(s) MRS M M SPAVIN DCC CH CALASTOA AMBER NECTAR (S C & C A MORRIS) Manchester Terriers A pleasing entry. Most were in good condition, but do watch toplines. Many had flat toplines instead of a slight arch over loins. PD (1) 1 Renshaw’s Talanors Smart Treat with Westbank, good shaped head & eye, well set ears, nice front & feet, well bent stifle, sound mover. Rather unsettled. JD (0). PGD (2,1a) 1 Clowes’ Churnet Canzone, compact youngster, lovely head & eye, straight front, good shaped quarters, well marked, sound mover. LD (4) 1 Brander’s Churnet Concerto at Menfreya, super head, small dark eye, well carried ears, good front, neck & topline, nice turn of stifle, well marked, sound active mover. RCC; 2 Jeynes’ Browdel Black Muskateer, lovely dog, close up, quality head, good eye & earset, neat front, good neck & shoulders, well ribbed body, sound free mover; 3 Beardow’s Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowitz. OD (6,2) 1 Morris’ Ch Calastoa Amber Nectar, good masculine head, dark almond shaped eye, neat ears, excellent front & feet, good neck, clean shoulders, well bodied & carries tail well, well marked, moved soundly. CC; 2 Norris’ Ch Brookstream Marcus Banks, lovely type, nice shaped head & eye, compactly built, good straight front, well shaped quarters, sound mover; 3 Leigh’s Sophyla Sorcerer of Mansiya. PB (5) 1 Reeve’s Harkeats Imperial Imp, lovely shaped feminine head, nice dark eye, good front, well arched toes, good topline & quarters, well marked, very sound free mover. BP; 2 Evans’ Coombelane New Beginning, nice quality head, well shaped eye & ears, correct front & shaped quarters, good tailset, free mover. Not as mature as 1; 3 Jones’ Larkswing Arial Acrobat. JB (3,1) 1 H Imperial Imp; 2 Leigh’s Mansiya Cosmopolitan, lovely type, but not settled. Nice head & eye, good neck, shoulders & outline, nice turn of stifle. PGB (4,1) 1 Knight’s Talanors Special Treat, good shaped feminine head, excellent ears, nice forechest, neck & shoulders, compact, good quarters, well marked, sound mover; 2 Carter’s Mansiya Wiccan Moon over Afilador, lovely shaped head & eye, good front & feet, nice reach of neck, well set tail. Not as settled in movement as 1; 3 De Lavis Trafford’s Kimblewick Tallulah with Tyburn. LB (7,2) 1 Palmer’s Egloshayle Black Rosewyn, quality head, nice eye, lovely front & feet, good neck & outline, well shaped quarters, well marked, very sound mover; 2 Brown’s Tyburn Lara, lovely feminine head, good eye & ears, nice shaped body & tailset, moved well in front. Just preferred 1 for back movement; 3 Reeve’s Mimbre Zakamia at Harkeats. OB (4) 1 Knight’s Talanors Tomorrows Dreams, super shaped quality head, small dark eye, uses her ears, excellent straight front, good neck & shoulders, correct topline, slight rise over loin, well sprung ribs & strong quarters, good turn of stifle, correct markings, very sound. CC & BOB; 2 Morris’ Ch Calastoa Ruby Tuesday, good head & eye, lovely front, feet & outline, well shaped quarters, well marked, sound free mover. RCC; 3 Oxley’s Ch Digelsa Double Entendre.
