MANCHESTER THREE COUNTIES 16 Judge: Mr J Shaun Watson BEST OF BREED : 2741 CARTER, Mr K & HARRISON Ms C Ch Digelsa Declaration MANCHESTER JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 16 Manchester Terriers Thank you for bringing your Manchesters for me to judge, generally they was super & easy & pleasurable to go over, I haven’t judged them a lot, because as FCI judge, generally there are not a lot but I judged them first in 1995 & have always liked to watch them if I see them in the ring, pleased to hear both my BOB & BP was placed in the group even more happy to see they have the same parents but different litters, & more surprised to know that best male & best female have the same father & mother was from the same kennels. PD (3,1a) 1 Straughan & Cripps’ Talanors In For A Treat, 8 months happy outgoing dog, tan could have been cleaner, & feet a set a bit better, nice set & use of the ears, correct head type & stop, moved & well handled, correct coat; 2 Sharpe’s Erkenwyne Othello at Rosettia, 8 months, top size, nice bone, tan could be cleaner for me, ears need to settle more, moved & handled well, stop could be better, nice coat. JD (2,1) 1 E Othello at R. PGD (3,2) 1 Adams & Harris’ Eaglespur Prince Charming, 19 months, could move with more enthusiasm & interest, nice head, tan could be cleaner, moved OK, nice coat, needs more time to develop & finish. OD (5,2) 1 Carter & Harrison’s Ch Digelsa Declaration, 2½ years, very impressive & stunning male, happy & real terrier on & off the table, tan could be cleaner, super well set & position & use of the ears which makes the super head even more impressive, head of correct places & proportions with good & correct stop, dark eye & excellent expression, looks & acts like real terrier & more than happy to be gone over. Correct feet, good bone, excellent colour & type & shine to the coat, moved & handled well. BD & BOB & later was G4 again pleased the terrier man Martin Philips liked him; 2 Olbinson & Kelly’s Paucelin Andoni at Carapast, 6 years male, nice type, very happy dog, good head with length & depth needed good years, enough bone. RBD; 3 Buxton’s Ch Millacome Made In Heaven. PB (3,1) 1 Oxley’s Digelsa D’Amour, 11 months, would like a better tail carriage, & more cleaner tan, but all terrier super set, position & use & size of her ears, could be a little more open in temperament but that could be a funny day as females have or just needs a bit more time, super bone, correct in head, correct topline & tailset, moved & handled very well, should become a champion & today RBB & BP, I see PG3; 2 Walker’s Talanors Treat Me Good at Sizlin, 8 months, nice shape & size, good substance, needs to have a cleaner tan, & to be a little more terrier in temperament, nice head, correct ears, good topline & well handled. JB (3,2) 1 Heller’s Limoncello Cecilia Beaux, 16 months, correct height, nice head, super ears when used which was not all the time, nice neck, topline could be a little better, tan could be cleaner, moved OK. PGB (1) 1 Sharpe’s Rosettia High Hopes, 18 months, well handled & presented, super coat type, condition & shine, tan could be cleaner, nice head, ears not always used to advantage, yes I do have a things about ears but that does not mean they are everything, but they do make the head look so much better when they are used well.
