MANCHESTER JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 16
Manchester Terrier
A pleasing entry of quality animals, size generally uniform. All exhibits in good hard condition with gleaming coats. My two top winners were a delight with true terrier expression and attitude, they will surely have much winning in front of them in any company.
Puppy Dog 2 (1 abs)
1. Mrs & Miss Sharpe’s Erkenwyne Othello at Rosettia, 8 month dog with lovely head, well made, moved steadily but on three tracks. Ear carriage spoilt his expression and certainly does not need to grow any taller.
Post Graduate Dog 1
1. Ms Pletz & Mr Kazantis’ Paucelin Duster, lovely sized young dog with lovely outline, well balanced. Plenty of muscle, did not move as freely as I should have liked.
Limit Dog 2 (1 abs)
1. Miss Priestman’s Felfree Top Oscar JW, smart young dog with pleasing outline. Good head ears eyes and expression. Moved well when sttled. Res Best Dog.
Open Dog 3
1. Mr Carter & Ms Harrison’s Ch Digelsa Declaration, top quality dog of correct size, sound construction throughout. Beautiful head with good eye and keen expression emphasised by ear carriage. .Alert and showing non-stop. Moved with drive and flexion. Best Dog & BOB.
2. Mr &Mrs Walshaw’s Talanor’s Diamonds N’Dreams Avec Janmark JW SHCM, another quality correct sized young dog with good head. Soundly made, moved well with drive. Not as good as winner in topline due to prominent hip bones.
3. Mrs & Miss Ferguson’s Ch Felfree Rocket SHCM, quality dog on the big side for me. Sound construction with good head. Feet disappointed.
Puppy Bitch 1
1. Mr & Mrs & Miss Oxley’s Digelsa D’Amour, 11 month top quality feminine bitch puppy. Excellent make and shape with good head, keen expression complimented by lovely ear carriage. Moved soundly once settled. Definitely one to watch out for in the future. Best Bitch & Best Puppy.
Junior Bitch 1
1. Moore’s Rattustrap War Dance to Zalman, attractive bitch but big enough. Soundly made with good head. Expression could be keener, front movement did not please.
Limit Bitch 1
1. Mrs & Miss Sharpe’s Rosettia High Hopes, lovely sized 18month young lady. Good head, ears a little high, lovely front and good bend of stifle. Hind movement not as good as front. Res Best Bitch.
