MANCHESTER JUDGE RICHMOND 21

JD (1)

1 Oxley’s Digelsa Double Agent. CC & BOB. Whilst only just into junior what a start to judging. In lovely coat and condition, correct markings and rich mahogany colour. Good masculine head with a good set of teeth. Correct length to the head with that typical clean wedge shape. Ears well set on and a good size, creating an alert and keen picture when presented. Good length to the neck into clean and well placed shoulder. Front legs correctly placed. Correct give in front pastern. Good depth of chest with correct tuck up and arch over the loin. Moderate rear construction and well muscled. Well balanced on the move. He just needs to mature to finish him off.

PGD (1)

1 Plant’s Plantocracy Bold Bruce JW. Another with a good head peace with well set on ears and good eye. Alert and keen expression, plus it was good to see the tail going on the move. I would like a little better lay of shoulder, hence affecting the front construction. A good depth to the brisket and correct tuck up. Good coal black colour with correct markings. A well made rear with a good bend of stifle and this showed as he moved away with drive. Not quite as tidy in front movement.

LD (2)

1 Knight’s Talanors Typically Elite. I preferred the overall balance, size and substance over the 2nd in this class. Pleasing clean wedge shape to the head with good strong teeth. Well set on ears with a keen expression. Good depth of brisket and spring of rib with a strong loin, with slight arch. Good bone and nice small semi harefoot. I preferred to movement to 2nd as well a little more together.

2 West’s Eaglespur Irving Stone at Junetta (IMP NLD). Bit smaller in size and stature all through. A pleasing head and keen expression with we set on ears. Correct straight front and bone. In super coat and condition with correct markings and good rich colour. Did tend to high step on the move in front and would like a little more upperarm.

OD (4,1)

1 Warner’s Talanors Time For Fun. RDCC. A nice moderate masculine dog. I preferred his head and expression to 2nd. It was a clean wedge with a good set of teeth. Well set on ear and used them to best affect in this class. Well made forehand with a reasonable lay of shoulder. Correct depth of brisket and spring of rib. Correct tuck up. Good colour, coat and condition and markings. Moved well and kept his balance on the move.

2 Spain’s Ch Talanors Diamond Tornado. Not quite the head of 1. Would like a slightly tighter ear carriage. Good set of strong teeth. Well made front construction with a good depth of brisket. With a correct spring of rib and tuck up. Moved with more drive behind than 1st.

3 Straughan’s Talanors In For A Treat

PB (1)

1 Knight’s Talanors Destiny Angel. BP. A very raw but likeable puppy with lots of potential and did consider her for the RCC, but lost out on maturity and substance. Lovely feminine head with a keen and alert expression. Good coat and condition with correct markings. Correct depth of brisket and nice arch in her loin with a correct tuck up. Movement was steady. Just needs to grow up now!

JB (1

1 Walker’s Sizlin Hey Good Lookin. A lovely feminine head and expression. Good straight legs and give in the pastern. Correct crest to the neck. Nice depth to brisket with spring of rib and tuck up. Good tail set. Would have liked a slightly better lay of shoulder as she did high step in front on the move.

YB (1)

1 Watkins’s Ruffagga Bewitching Girl. A pretty headed bitch with a nice clean wedge shape.. Good ears and carriage, which created a keen and alert expression. Straight front with correct pastern. Well marked, in good coat and condition. Did tend to dip in her topline over her withers and I’d like a little more all over.

PGB (1)

1 O’Boyle’s Plantocracy Harmione. Good clean wedge shape, ear set ok but carriage could have had a little more fold in the ear. In super coat and condition with a good rich mahogany colour. Correct straight front with proportionate bone. Moderate rear and moved well enough. I’d like a little more arch in the topline over the loin.

OB (3,1)

1 Straughan’s Talanors Time To Shine At Mannikai. BCC. I preferred this bitches size and balance on the day. Good feminine head and expression. Correct eye and well set ear and carriage. Flowed into her neck more cleanly and had the correct crest to the neck. Correct straight front and pastern and semi harefoot. Presented in good condition with correct markings and rich colour. Good depth of brisket and spring of rib. With a correct tuck up. Presented a more balanced profile when on the move.

2 Brown & Davies Digelsa Dark Indulgence at Wystry JW. RBCC. Feminine head and expression. Good alert ear carriage. Clean neck and shoulder with a straight front. Correct depth of brisket with a tuck up. Nice clean markings and rich colour.
