MANCHESTER RICHMOND 14 Judge: Mr Jeff Horswell (Drakesleat) BEST OF BREED : 2183 BEARDOW Mr & Mrs M & C Ch Int Ch World Talanors Hellova Treat For Sipowit MANCHESTER JUDGE RICHMOND 14 Manchester Terriers Temperaments were all excellent & most in really hard condition.
PD (1) 1 Freer & Priestman’s Felfree Top Oscar, masculine, compact pup. Has a clean skull, super eye & expression. Well set ears. Strong neck. Well laid shoulder correct depth of chest. Short loin. Topline is OK. Could have a little more hind angulation & his tail is set slightly high. Good out & back mover. JD (3) 2 Pletz & Kazantzis’ Pauceline Duster, liked his head, better in cheek & eye that 3. He has a lengthy neck. Liked his body. Feet could be better, & shorter nails would improve. Well defined tan. Could be more positive in the rear; 3 Willis’ Talanors Super Treat. PGD (1) 1 Geraghty’s Mojero Bowmore, quite a good moving dog. Lengthy & clean in head, dark eyes, ears rather spoil his expression. Good neck. Well laid shoulder. Liked his spring of rib. Compact body. Could have a little more turn of stifle. Tan is slightly too light. Well set tail. LD (4,1) Real step up in quality here. 1 & 2 different qualities & not much in it. 1 Buxton’s Millacome Made In Heaven, just thought he was that bit more compact & had better ears. Long & clean head. Flat cheeks. Eye could be a fraction darker. Liked his length of neck. Fair shoulder. He is upright in pastern & feet could be slightly longer. Good depth of chest. His compactness of body with short loin is excellent & has an arch to his loin. Well made rear, which he uses so well. Slightly loose in front. Lovely colour. RCC; 2 Ferguson’s Felfree Rocket, liked him very much. He has a long & masculine head. Slight stop. Like his eye & expression. Lengthy neck. Has a well laid shoulder. He is a little too sloped in pastern & feet could be tighter. Liked his depth & width of chest. Well cut up in underline. Slightly longer in Back & flatter in topline that 1. Liked his turn of stifle & hock. He too could be cleaner coming towards. Very good coat; 3 P Duster. OD (5) 1 Beardow’s Ch/Int Ch World Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowit, really good mover, holding his very good shape. Masculine in head. Clean cheeks. Well filled up under the eyes. Lovely eye & expression. Ears OK. Would like a fraction more neck & shoulder could be slightly better laid. Lovely legs & feet. Correct spring of rib. Short loin, with an arch to his loin. Enough hind angulation. In hard condition. Liked his tail carriage. CC & BOB; 2 Charlton’s Ch Digelsa Diamond Geeza at Lizelms, another cracking dog. Compact in body. Lengthy & masculine in head. Ears OK. Liked his neck. Better in shoulder than 1, although he is slightly slack in feet & pastern. Correct depth of chest. Arch to his loin. Well angulated rear. Could carry more muscle. Not quite the stride of 1 but accurate out & back. Decided to play the fool when came back in for the RCC challenge; 3 Saville’s Ch Calastoa's Man In The Mirror of Dobermatian. VB (2) Two grand old ladies. 1 Geraghty’s Tyburn Laodice, she moves out so well, bored looking on the table but full of life on the floor. Liked her feminine head. Well set & carried ears. Slightly heavy in body, which spoils her neck. Arch to loin. Well bent stifle; 2 McIntyre’s Calot Ozara, lovely type bitch. Feminine head, not quite ears of 1. She has a well made front. Correct underline but slightly flatter in topline. Nice rear. Sound mover. PB (3) 1 Wicker’s Mimbre Bombette, liked her very much. Lengthy in head, super eye & expression. Ears can settle. Strong & crested neck. Well laid shoulder. Needs to firm up in front still. Liked her topline & correct underline. Short loin. Well made rear. Really lovely quality girl. RCC & BP; 2 Peacham’s Felfree A Touch Of Glam, super head with a lovely eye & expression. Ears can settle. Strong neck. Well laid shoulder. Good feet. Better in topline than 3. Could be better in hind action. Low hocks. Very good coat; 3 Young’s Mimbre Monsoon. JB (1) A. PGB (1) 1 Buxton’s Millacome Maid Of Magic, liked her for outline & profile movement very much. Could be tidier out & back. Feminine & lengthy head. Well set ears. Dark eyes. Lengthy neck. Slightly broad in chest & could have better pasterns. Liked her depth of chest & underline. Arch to loin. Correct tail. Good turn of stifle. LB (1) 1 Saville’s Querceti Isadora for Dobermatian, really on her toes & uses her well carried ears so well. Feminine head of good length. Dark eyes. Clean in cheek. Has a lengthy neck. Angulation is well balanced if slightly too moderate. Correct length of feet. Chest to her elbow. Just rather moves with hind legs under her. Correct tail. OB (4) 1 Walshaw’s Digelsa Diva avec Janmark, very feminine bitch who is very accurate out & back. Liked her head. Correct length, lovely under the eyes. Flat cheeks. Super eye & expression. Lengthy neck. Correct depth of chest. Underline cuts up behind ribs, arch to her loin. Well bent stifle & low hocks. Ears OK & just lost some hair. Nice short tail. CC; 2 Saxton & Dale’s Rattustrap Top Totty Hew, she has a super outline. Lengthy head, just slightly broad in skull & pinched under the eyes. Well set ears. Lengthy, crested neck. A tiny bit broad in front. She has super feet. Ribs go well back to a short loin. Better hind action than 3 Leigh & Nonog’s Am Can Jetcity Cat Woman Sings The Blues to Mansiy. JEFF HORSWELL |
