MANCHESTER RICHMOND 11 Judge: Tom H Johnston (Feldkirk) MANCHESTER JUDGE RICHMOND 11 Manchester Terriers PD (0). JD (4) 1 Eva’s Sophyla Sam Brown, promising young dog, really well made with excellent shape, good head & eye, well placed ears, very good shape, well shaped shoulders, short body with good spring of rib, nice arch over loin, muscular hindquarters, with good turn of stifle, small strong feet, good coat & markings, sound free & active movement. RCC; 2 Olbinson & Kelly’s Paucelin Andoni, nicely balanced head with sparkling eye & small well placed ears, good length of neck, straight forelegs, good depth of body adequate forechest & turn of stifle, good muscle in rearquarters, moved freely but just standing & moving a shade wide in forequarters; 3 Stedman’s Mansiya Dare To Be Different. PGD (4) 1 S Sam Brown; 2 P Andoni; 3 Cawley’s Victor James Montague. LD (2) 1 Saxton & Dale’s Rattustrap Black Sheep, good skull shape, dark almond shaped eye with lovely expression, well placed ears, nicely arched neck, clean shoulders, good fore & hindquarters, adequate depth of body & forechest, good muscle in rear, nice markings, good action but in the challenge tending to move a shade wide. OD (2) 1 Beardow’s Ch Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowitz, lovely balanced dog with well proportioned head & lovely dark eye, fair length of neck with pleasing crest, good forechest, clean & well sloped shoulders, short body with well sprung ribs, strong & muscular hindquarters, good markings, good free & balanced movement. CC; 2 Brander’s Ch Churnet Concerto at Menfreya, larger dog than my winner but well balanced in head & body, well placed ears, fair length of neck, good fore & rearquarters, pleasing body shape & topline, good muscle in rearquarters, excellent coat condition, good movement all round. PB (4) 1 Wicker’s Mimbre Cadenza, lovely balanced feminine head, dark eye, ears tending to fly at this stage, fair length of neck, adequate forechest, straight forelegs, pleasing depth of body & topline, adequate turn of stifle, nice markings, needs to settle in movement. JB (3) 1 Knight’s Talanors Taylor Made Treat, promising puppy with good head & eye, well placed ears of good shape, clean shoulders, straight forelegs, adequate forechest, pleasing topline, nice rearquarters, moving a shade loose in forward movement but this should tighten with maturity, good rear & profile mover. BP; 2 Leigh’s Calastoa English Rose to Mansiya, balanced head with dark eye, ears tending to fly at this stage & need to settle, adequate forechest, would prefer a little weight off the body to complete the overall picture & this should also help with the movement which is a little restricted. PGB (0). LB (5) 1 Palmer’s Egloshayle Sea Lily, good feminine head with pleasing eyes & ears, good front & limbs, well set tail, good coat, moved out well when settled; 2 Saxton & Dale’s Egloshayle Sea Sprite of Rattustrap, nicely balanced girl with pleasing head, eye & when she uses them well placed ears, straight forelegs, OK depth of body & topline, good rear & profile movement; 3 McIntyre’s Calot Ozara. OB (7) 1 Freer’s Mansiya Casting Circles with Felfree, lovely girl so beautifully balanced & in top form in coat, condition & showmanship, good head, eye & expression, well made front & hindquarters, good topline & tailset, straight, free & balanced movement, with good reach in front & excellent drive in the rear. CC & BOB; 2 Palmer’s Egloshayle Black Rosewyn, nicely balanced girl with well proportioned head, dark eye & neat ears, pleasing crested neck, good fore & rearquarters, body developed well, good action but just preferred the reach & positive drive of 1; 3 Knight’s Talanors Tomorrows Deams.
