Manchester Terriers

PD (1)

1 Walshaw’s Talanors Diamonds N’ Dreams avec Janmark, so handsome & already very mature for his 9 months, in the best of coat & hard muscular condition. Super head with neat ears & a most intelligent expression in his well shaped dark eyes. Well balanced & typy, beautifully made all through with good layback of shoulder, bend of stifle & depth through the heart. Rich tan markings with good thumbmarks & pencilling on his toes. Sound & energetic on the move, reaching out & driving from his hocks, just needs to learn to curb his enthusiasm with his tail as he is something very special. BP & went on to PG1 under Meg Purnell-Carpenter.

JD (3,2a)

1 T Diamonds N’ Dreams avec J.

PGD (2)

1 Gallie’s Digelsa Double Diamond, larger type with good depth of chest, in hard condition with good markings. A steady, willing mover with happy confident attitude, going particularly well behind. A first show for both dog & handler & they did very well indeed.

LD (1)

1 Pyne’s Brockenella’s Chancer at Budley, well shaped head & eye with a most intelligent look about him, in excellent coat & condition with good layback of shoulder & depth through the heart; excellent feet, with rich tan, good thumb marks & pencilling. He went well, driving from his hocks with good reach in side gait.

OD (6,1)

1 Knight’s Ch Westbank Blue Diamond for Talanors, such a gorgeous, handsome fellow, well balanced with all the parts fitting neatly & firmly into the whole. Beautiful head with keen intelligent expression in his dark sparkling eyes, so good for size & type with well set & carried constantly wagging tail. He moved to match the excellence of his confirmation, covering ground in profile to fulfil my interpretation of the Standard to the proverbial tee. See his is proving his worth being sire of both the BCC winner & BP. Most impressive. CC which, I understand, is his well deserved tenth;

2 Olbinson & Kelly’s Paucelin Andoni at Carapast, a neat, good looking dog, lovely for size & type with, again, a beautiful head, eye & expression. Well made all through with good depth of chest & strong topline, well angulated shoulders & hindquarters. Energetic, full of fun & a very good mover. RCC;

3 Norris’ Ch Brookstream Louis De Blue.

PB (1)

1 Maidment’s Egloshayle Daisy May, very smart & such an excellent mover, driving from her hocks with good reach in profile. Lovely head & well shaped dark expressive eyes. Neat feet with rich tan markings, thumb prints & pencilling on her toes. Well laid shoulders with good depth of chest & strong topline, in lovely glossy coat & hard condition.

JB (1)

1 Palmer’s Egloshayle Queen Of The May, lovely size & type, well balanced, in excellent coat & condition with lovely dark expressive eyes, small neat ears & good feet. Well made all through with good layback of shoulder. Did everything asked of her but strictly nothing more in the keen alertness department. She moved beautifully but not using her tail with a dreamy look about her & gather that she had made up her mind to expect imaginary puppies! It is said that every dog has its day &, sadly, this was not to be hers. The promise is all there.

PGB (2)

1 Price’s Landover Lady of Lloret, lovely head, eye & expression, well made all through with good shoulder & hindquarters, neat feet. A very good mover with good reach in profile. Not always choosing to make the best of herself;

2 El-Telbani’s Tudorbrook New Attitude for Srenscem, good for size & type, a little full in eye. Strong topline with good feet. Reluctant to be handled on the table at first perhaps due to the noise of the echoing hall, but soon decided to brave it out & stood freely & confidently. A happy willing mover.

LB (5,2)

1 Cawley’s Marlablue In A Twirl, certainly has the wow factor! So elegant & feminine combined with strength & substance. Bright sparkling well shaped eyes with keen expression. Loved her size, type, make, shape, balance, proportions – everything! Fully mature at just 20 months, she moved quite beautifully, driving from her strong hocks & covering ground in profile. A hard choice between what transpired to be her sire but in the final moments she just had the edge on her obvious happiness & love of life. Just lovely. CC, her first, & BOB;

2 Saville’s Querceti Isadora for Dobermatian, she too moved extremely well with excellent topline & depth of chest, in the best of coat & condition with rich bright tan markings. Another not so keen on the table at first &, I suspect, one of those who hated the noise of the echoing hall. She had my sympathy;

3 Wicker’s Mimbre Bombette.

OB (5)

1 Dunford & Akrigg’s Ch Paucelin Armana by Quixol, so happy, alert & full of her own importance with tail constantly awag. Beautifully conformed & balanced. Lovely head with dark expressive eyes, neat feet & good strong topline. She went well, driving strongly from her hocks. So exciting to find that she is litter sister to the RDCC winner, both being sired by Ch Brookstream Marcus Banks, my BOB winner, who went on to G2 at Richmond 2009. RCC;

2 Boggis’ Ddraigdu Misty For Me at Laurenbill, lovely for size & type, well shaped head with dark eyes, good layback of shoulder. Just a touch longer in body than the winner. Very sound & accurate in movement;

3 Walshaw’s Ch Digelsa Diva avec Janmark.
