Manchester Terriers

PD (1)

1 Freer & Priestman’s Felfree Top Oscar, super boy, pleasing size & shape. Presented in gleaming coat & condition. Good shaped head with dark almond eyes. High earset, although his ears are still a little unsettled at the moment. Straight front, well laid shoulders, firm topline & well muscled hindquarters. Well defined markings with rich tans. Moves out smartly with plenty of drive behind, handled to get the best from him, a promising youngster. BP.

JD (1)

1 F Top Oscar.

PGD (1)

1 Pyne’s Brockenella’s Chancer at Budley, rangier type, but still quite well balanced & all male. Pleasing long wedge head, ears a touch heavy & could ideally be set higher. Lovely dark almond eyes. Good front, & shoulders, good hindquarters, he is a bit proud of his tail on the move, strides out well with plenty of drive. Well marked coat.

LD (3)

1 Ferguson’s Felfree Rocket, easy winner for me in this class, wouldn’t want him any bigger, he is of such a good type, must be reaching his full potential now. Lovely wedge head with dark almond eyes & high set ears. Good straight front, well defined thumbprints, decent topline with the desired slight rise over loin. In gleaming jacket, & such positive action on the move. RCC;

2 Buxton’s Millacome Made In Heaven, again, a pleasing wedge shaped head & dark eyes. Ears need to settle a little to give a better expression. Good topline & loin, good bone & tight feet. Moves out well. Handy size;

3 Olbinson & Kelly’s Paucelin Andoni at Carapast.

OD (6,2a)

1 Knight’s Westbank Blue Diamond for Talanors, this dog stood out a mile for me, good sized & in fantastic condition, gleaming with health. Pleasing masculine wedge head with the darkest of sparkling eyes, & high set neat ears. Good front & topline with slight rise over loin. Clearly defined markings with rich tans. He comes into his own on the move, powering around the ring with good reach & drive behind. I think this chap would be a formidable opponent for any rat. An exciting prospect. CC & BOB, delighted to see him take G3. I heard later this made him up into a well deserved ch;

2 Saville’s Calastoa’s Man In The Mirror of Dobermatian, good type & preferred his head & expression to 3, masculine dog, good wedge head, high set ears, good front. Tans not quite as rich as winner. Well muscled & conditioned. Just needs to concentrate a little more & settle down, but most promising & will reach the top I’m sure;

3 Eva’s Sophyla Sam Brown.

PB (3)

1 Cawley’s Marlablue In A Twirl, feminine head & expression, lovely wedge shape with dark almond eyes. Good shoulders & topline. Nicely conditioned & in gleaming coat. She handles well. Black has run into tans, & would like clearer definition. Close up in the puppy challenge, she had the better ears, but the dog’s more defined markings won the day;

2 Scanlan’s Digelsa Dixie Chick, slightly taller bitch, but a nice overall shape, pleasing wedge shaped head with good ears & dark almond eyes. Nicely laid shoulders, well bodied & in super coat & condition. Moves out well, just need to concentrate a little more to show herself off to better advantage. Lots of promise;

3 Evans’ Twisel Magic Sunset.

PGB (4)

1 Buxton’s Millacome Maid Of Magic, this young lady stood out for me in this class, lovely size & shape & so well conditioned. Attractive wedge shaped head, eyes could be a just touch darker, pleasing high set ears. Tan is a little pale, has clearly defined pencilling & thumbprints. Good lay of shoulder, firm topline, good tuck-up & very well muscled. Moves out with drive;

2 Murray’s Mansiya Serendipity, size OK, liked her wedge head, ears are a bit heavy & could be higher set. Tans could be darker too, although better than the winner. Good legs & feet & well boned throughout. A sound mover;

3 El-Telbani’s Tudorbrook New Attitude for Srenscem.

LB (5)

1 Brander’s Nightstorm Miss Chevious at Menfreya, headed quite a mixed class for type & size. Slightly taller bitch, but the most collected on the move. Pleasing feminine wedge shaped head, high set ears & lovely shaped eyes. Tan could be a fraction darker. Pleased body shape, well ribbed & in gleaming coat. Moved out with drive;

2 Walshaw’s Digelsa Diva avec Janmark, a smaller compact youngster who was rather unsettled today as had to rush to make the class. I think she still has some maturing to do, but shows much promise & is very feminine in head & expression. Has the darkest of eyes, ears could be a touch higher set. Well laid shoulders, firm topline, covers the ground well, but rather proud of her tail today. Just needs time to settle;

3 Saville’s Querceti Isadora for Dobermatian.

OB (6,1)

1 Oxley’s Ch Digelsa De Ja Vu, this beauty stood out for her type & well balanced outline. Lovely head, high earset. Good front, thumbprints. Well defined tans, well conditioned body & in gleaming jacket. Firm topline with slight rise, & so sound on the move. CC. A close thing in the challenge for BOB, the dog was just so on his tiptoes;

2 Knight’s Ch Talanors Taylor Made Treat, another quality girl, liked her size & shape. Lovely head, wedge shaped & good ears. Good tans & thumbprints, lovely body condition & gleaming jacket. Nicely angulated & moves out well. RCC;

3 Leigh’s Am/Can Ch Jetcity Cat Woman Sings The Blues to Mansiya.
