Manchester Terriers

PD (2,1a)

1 Lewis’ Rattustrap Red Admiral, good straight front with correct pasterns. In super condition with good colour & markings. Well set ear & used them well. Good wedge shape to the head. Good rise over the loin & ribbed correctly. Well let down behind & moved freely.

JD (2)

1 Freer & Priestman’s Felfree Top Oscar, a better size to 2. Well marked & coloured. Good head & expression with well set ears. Well ribbed & nice strong loin, movement a little more steady. Good straight front & well let down hock;

2 Lewis’ Rattustrap Red Admiral.

PGD (3,1)

1 F Top Oscar;

2 Stafford’s Westwytch Bolt For Gold, a nice type of Manchester, a little heavier in head compared to 1. Good deep brisket to the elbow & straight front. Well marked & good condition to him. Played up at points on the move.

OD (3)

1 Ferguson’s Ch Felfree Rocket, a nice size to this dog. A well balanced dog with a good make & shape. Super front assembly. Good wedge shaped head & correct shape to the eye with a typical expression. Well set ear & used them to finish off that expression. Well made body with correct ribbing & depth into a correct tuck up & rise over the loin. Very free moving boy & kept his shape & balance on the move. BD & BOB;

2 Dunford, Akrigg & Walton’s Ch Quixol Alexander, another good quality dog, moved well both ways & kept his balance on the move. Good head & expression well set smart ears. Good depth of brisket. Well made behind & drove off well. RBD;

3 Eva’s Sophyla Sam Brown.

PB (3,2)

1 Saxton, Dale & Emrick’s Rattustrap Imperial Red, pretty puppy, well balanced. Correct front construction with a good depth of brisket back into a good tuck up & rise over the loin. Good bend of stifle with a well let down hock & moved well. Feminine head & expression, good ear & size. BP.

JB (2)

1 Wicker’s Mimbre Bombette, a lighter type than the 2nd, but preferred the overall balanced to her in profile movement. Lovely front construction & feet. Well marked & good rich colour. Good tuck up & rise over the loin. Moved well both ways;

2 Young’s Mimbre Monsoon, not quite the scope of the 1st & would have liked more rise over the loin. Well made front. Nice feminine head & expression, well set ear. Good colour & markings, would have liked a little more oomph on the move. PGB (3,1)

1 Saxton, Bovill & Dale’s Rattustrap Maid Marian, more typy for me than 2. Good coat & colour & kept a more balanced outline on the move. Pleasing head & expression, could have used her ears a little more at points;

2 Fitch & Reeve’s Westwytch Iron Lady, a smaller type all over & would have liked a little more scope, good colour & markings & pleasing head.

OB (5,1)

1 Dunford & Akrigg’s Ch Paucelin Armana by Quixol, a good class. I really liked the balance of this bitch, nothing overdone. Super head & expression, good shaped eye & nice size & set ear. Keen & alert. Good straight front & correct depth of brisket, into nice tuck up & well made rear construction. Lovely free mover & made a lovely picture going around the ring. BB;

2 Walshaw’s Digelsa Diva avec Janmark, another good bitch with lots to offer. Good feminine head & expression, good strong neck & good straight front. Good string of rib & strong loin. Slight rise over the loin into a good powerful rear construction. Moved well both ways. RBB;

3 Peacham’s Felfree A Touch Of Glam for Manrio.
