MANCHESTER JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 11

Manchester Terriers

JD (2) & PGD (1)

1 Eva’s Sophyla Sam Brown, 14 months dog I have judged before, as he is maturing has gained such an elegant outline. Masculine lean head, lovely dark alert eyes, neat well shaped ears, super neck into lovely backline & tail, short body of substance with well sprung ribs & nice arched loin, well presented rich b/t coat, straight forequarters with depth to chest, well turned & muscled hindquarters, neat straight legs, elbows well in, neat hared feet, nice thumb marks, super sound with powerful stride & good ground coverage. BOB. Sorry judging was too late for you to make the group.

OD (2)

1 Dale & Saxton’s Rattustrape Black Sheep, in well conditioned rich b/t jacket, nicely balanced with super outline, clean wedge shaped head, well set on ears & nice dark almond eyes, arched neck to clean shoulders & firm backline over body, well ribbed with substance. Larrow front lacking a little in depth. Well turned & muscled hindquarters, nice legs & feet of good shape, lovely side stride. Little closer behind & wider at front than Sam Brown. RBD.

JB (1)

1 Reeves’ Harkeats Jump For Joy, very attractive well made 7 months bitch, lovely type outline with good substance & depth for age, well sprung ribs, slight tuck to loin, strong colours & well coated, nicely balanced & moulded head with delightful character expressed in lively dark well shaped eyes. Ears a little fly away at present. Good straight front legs, neat hare feet, once settled moved out soundly & freely. BP.

PGB (2)

1 Reeves’ Harkeats Imperial Imp, another of lovely type from this kennel, very much standard outline, in lovely hard condition with glossy b/t jacket, feminine head of correct shape & balance, dark alert eyes & well set ears albeit a little flyaway. Strong neck into strong backline over substantial body of depth & well ribbed, nice loin area & tuck, nice legs & feet, very free sound mover with good stride & ground coverage.

OB (5)

Very nice class of quality bitches.

1 Dale & Saxton’s Egloshayle Sea Sprite of Rattustrap, beautiful outline & overall balance, full of type, beautiful head & expression & well used ears, strong arched neck into clean shoulders & firm backline, well bodied with depth nicely ribbed, tuck to loin, beautifully conditioned & glossy coat, good depth of chest, nicely angulated, slightly out on the elbows. Strongly muscled rearquarters, straight well boned legs & firm hare feet. Lovely free stride, little wide at front. Powerful sound hindquarters. BB;

2 Geraghtys Tyburn Laodice, really liked her type & outline. Most beautiful head shape & expression spoilt by not using ears to advantage. Well muscled neck, firm backline, conditioned coat of lovely rich colour over muscled short body of depth & substance, correct angulation both ends, nicely boned straight legs & neat feet, excellent stride & very sound mover. RBB;

3 Hart’s Digelsa Deep Purple at Terriz.
