MANCHESTER JUDGE DRIFFIELD 14

Manchester Terriers

PD (2,1a)

1 lewis’ Rattustrap Red Admiral, his first show so a bit hesitant, but a promising youngster with some nice breed points, good wedged shaped head & elegant neck, still a raw youngster & will benefit from more ring craft training & handled sympathetically.

JD (2,1)

1 Carter’s Digelsa Declaration, a shame he did not move out well today, a nice compact terrier, with plenty of substance, good wedge shaped head & depth of muzzle, would like to see a bit more colour definition on the muzzle, good bend of stifle.

OD (5)

1 Ferguson’s Felfree Rocket, moved effortlessly around the ring, straight free & balanced, good wedged shaped head, elegant neck & crest, clean shoulders & forelegs set well under the body. Slight rise over loin with good bend of stifle, would prefer darker thumb prints & did not use his ears enough in the challenge to beat the bitch. BD;

2 Knight`s Westbank Blue Diamond for Talanors, good for size nicely balanced with plenty of substance, well sprung ribs & good rear angulation, excellent tan & thumb prints RBD. Not as elegant & did not move out as well as the winner today;

3 Charlton’s Digelsa Diamond Geeza at Lizelms.

PB (2)

1 Saxton Dale & Emrick’s Rattustrap Imperial Red, good performance from this promising youngster deserved her BP & RBB, very feminine head correctly placed ears, elegant neck clean shoulders & good rear angulation, rich tan & beautifully marked;

2 Beever’s & Scott’s Rattustrap Red Feather, when standing has some very nice bread points well balanced nice markings, ears still to settle, this youngster was so excited on the move was unable to access, with some training should improve.

JB (3)

1 Smith`s Simjest Candy Girl nice type size & bone, moved out well feminine head, elegant neck nice glimps of forechest & good tuck up. would prefer ear set to be a little higher to give a more alert expression.

2 Saxton Bovill Dale`s Rattustrap Maid Marian, a smaller type but really keen & on her toes, elegant outline & good bend of stifle;

3 Sharpe’s Rosettia Opal Legacy.

PGB (2)

1 Symington’s Talanors Secret Treat, good depth of muzzle, nice dark eye good for bone & balance, good rear angulation, would prefer to see a bit more width in the chest;

2 Sharpe’s Rosettia Ruby Reflection, moved out well by the junior handler who did a sterling job, she carried a little too much weight which spoiled the outline & balance today.

OB (4,2)

1 Oxley’s Ch Digelsa De Ja Vu, compact, elegant, sound with substance, excellent body depth to leg length, very attractive wedge shaped head with correct depth of muzzle, good use of ears giving keen & alert expression, rich tan & nicely marked, the last two points gave her the edge over the dog. BB, BOB;

2 Saville’s Querceti Isadora for Dobermatian, very typy bitch, good size & well balanced, some lovely bread points with feminine head & nicely marked, moved out well, she was carrying weight over her neck, shoulder & topline, so did not look as elegant today.

GCB (1)

1 Sharpe’s Rosettia Ruby Reflection.
