Manchester Terriers

Thank you to everyone for their lovely entry. I enjoyed my day helped by my excellent stewards & the well presented dogs. The downside was that our dogs seem to have lost their terrier sparkle.

VD (2)

1 Broadhurst’s Churnet Chorus, a well bodied masculine dog with good wedge head & correct ears. A good topline kept on the move, nice arched neck flowing into good shoulders. A good depth of chest & correct angulation. Moved out well; 2 Fitch & Reeve’s Westwytch Calico Cadeau, a great 12 year old dog, looking very well. Pleasing head & sound body enjoying his day out.

PD (1)

1 Aspden’s Exdraco Tony Wilson, good for size, well marked with good head, ears need to settle. Topline kept on the move. JD (4,2) 1 Straughan & Cripps Talanors In For A Treat, a well bodied young man who doesn’t need to grow on. Strong masculine head, good dark eye, ears not his best feature & lost topline on the move;

2 Atkinson’s Trueflow Bit Little, well marked with rich tan. Pleasing head & eyes, good front & angulation. Moved out well.

PGD (6,3

1 Almond’s Eaglespur Classic Charmer, good for size. Strong masculine dog with lovely wedge head. Good bone, rich tan, correct angulation. Moved well;

2 Stafford’s Westwytch Bolt For Gold, finer boned than 1. Outline good but would like to see more depth in body. Strong head, ears rather heavy. Good feet with well-arched toes;

3 Coutts’ Rattustrap Boris Citrov.

LD (7)

1 Church’s Rattustrap Charlie Brown, good head & ears. Correct front. Would have liked a darker eye. A good turn of stifle, moved well; 2 Charlton’s Digelsa Done n’ Dusted at Lizelms, lovely dark tan. Good wedge head but ears rather heavy. Well bodied & muscular. Rather flat in the back;

3 Priestman’s Felfree Top Oscar.

OD (8,1)

3 Walshaw’s Talanors Diamonds n’ Dreams.

1 CC & BP, Saville’s Simjest Back To Black by Dobermatian, one that stood out from the crowd. Up to size but an elegant & well boned puppy. Lovely wedge head. Super ears, nice dark eye. Good markings with rich tan. Moved well for a youngster. Hope she fulfils her promise;
