BRITISH MANCHESTER TERRIER CThe British Manchester Terrier Club held an open show. I would like to thank the exhibitors who entered under me, breeders still need to look at movement also round eyes seem to be creeping into the breed & a few over marked bleeding of the thumb prints instead of a defined thumbprint, on the plus side temperaments have improved & no bad mouths all had good scissor bite. 2 Hemsall’s Tetani Spirit Vision, 9 years old bitch who has a feminine head & dark eye, good markings & shapely body, she didn’t like the cold & tended to hunch up on the move which affected her movement. 10+ 1 Tyrrell’s Sophyla Sixpence, nearly 12 years old & didn’t look it, nice & sound with pleasing head & dark eye, nice front & deep chest, angulation front & rear good, nice body shape, with good topline leading into good tailset which she carried well on the move. BV; 2 Hemsall’s Tetani Princess Of Darkness, another nice bitch who was unlucky to meet 1, pretty & feminine with pleasing head, dark eye & neat small ears, angulation good & she has a shapely body, another one who didn’t like the cold which affected her movement; 3 Fitch & Reeve’s Westwytch Calico Cadeau.
