MANCHESTER BOURNEMOUTH 12 Judge: Mr J Horswell BEST OF BREED : 4729 OXLEY, Mr M & Mrs G M & OXLEY Miss S R Digelsa De Ja Vu JW Sh.CM MANCHESTER JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 12 Manchester Terriers All were in gleaming coat & well muscled up. Ear carriage varied a lot. Some could have slightly better markings, often front legs were fine but the rear could have been better defined. VD (0). PD A. JD (1) 1 Parker’s Manisiya Magnetic Man, beautifully conditioned fit dog, long head, dark eyes. Ears could be a fraction better set, well filled front, chest to elbow, strong rear. Better in profile action than out & back. Correct length tail, went very well in challenge to get RCC. PGD (2) 1 Cawley’s Victor James Montague, masculine dog up on his toes, better in topline & hind angulation of the pair, masculine head, well filled under eyes, strong neck, rather upright in pasterns, well bodied, enough hind angulation; 2 Stedman’s Mansiya Dare To Be Different, lengthy masculine head, super eye & expression, fair front with chest to elbow. Marking in rear legs could be better defined. LD (2) 1 Clifton’s Gloryline Henry The Seventh, alert masculine dog, lengthy head, super big teeth, flat skull, very good eye & expression, fair neck. A bit careless with his front. Well bodied, topline OK, good rear used well. OD (2) 1 Norris’ Ch Brookstream Louis De Blue, compact masculine dog with a super head, well set ears, bright expression, super neck, correct topline. A bit slack at pastern, but better feet than 2. Correct hind angulation, holds good outline on the move. CC; 2 Beardow’s Ch/Int/World Ch Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowtt, sharply dog, not the head & eye of 1 & is a bit lazy with his ears. Enough neck, fair chest, correct ribs. A bit wide going away, but super in front. Good stride. In the challenge decided to throw his front about. VB (2) 1 Beardow’s Amyandas Knight Fever, feminine bitch of compact shape, pleasing topline, lengthy head, well filled under eyes. Ears not carried very well spoiling expression. Lengthy neck, well boned chest to elbow, enough hind angulation. PB (5) Nice class of pups. 1 Norris’ Calastoa’s Who’s That Girl of Brookstream, alert showy bitch, super head with parallel planes, high set ears, super eye & expression, strong neck, good front, slight arch to loin, enough hind angulation, well marked, went well. RCC & BP; 2 Palmer’s Egloshayle Fallen Angel, very promising pup, just needs to firm in front & not the feet of 1. Lengthy head. A little lazy with ears at times. Super neck, nice front, topline OK, strong rear; 3 Morris’ Calastoa’s Lucky Star. JB (3) 1 Who’s That Girl at B; 2 C Lucky Star, promising pup, feminine head, fairly well set ears, super eyes, planes very slightly off, lengthy neck. Can still fill on front. Liked her hindquarters. Just a bit untidy in front as yet; 3 Barton’s Erkenwyne On The Rocks. PGB (2) 1 Cawley’s Digelsa Dancing With Darla, showy bitch who moves very well. Just a fraction too long & wouldn’t want any more hind angulation. Feminine head with well set ears & super eyes, lengthy neck. A bit flat in topline. Well made front & super feet; 2 E On The Rocks, having fun on the move, lengthy head. Round rather than almond eyes. Super neck, fair topline, enough hind angulation. Can still firm in front. LB (3) Two very different bitches making a hard decision. 1 Hammett’s Digelsa Double Take for Bryedal, much better feet & a better topline than 2, feminine head, well set ears, dark eyes, very good shoulders. Can high step in front. Super hind action; 2 Knight’s Talanors Taylor Made Treat, bigger but still very feminine, dark eyes, strong neck. Goes a bit wide at rear, but very true in front. Lovely coat & muscle. OB (4) 1 Oxley’s Digelsa De Ja Vu, beautifully conditioned young bitch, most lovely head, well filled under eyes, super ears, strong lengthy neck, straight front with well laid shoulders. Just a fraction long in loin. Slight arch in loin, well made rear, moves well. CC & BOB; 2 Palmer’s Ch Egloshayle Sea Lily, slightly different type of bitch, lengthy head, strong neck. Rather slack in pastern, tight feet, correct topline, compact body, well bent stifle. JEFF HORSWELL |
