Firstly thanks must go to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at their well- run welcoming show and a special thanks to the ring stewards who kept things running smoothly.
Junior Dog (1)
1. Mrs D Barlow’s Talanors Time for Magic. Super boy who is maturing into a lovely, compact, well balanced dog that moves with drive round the ring. Good dark almond eyes with well set ears. Has a decent depth of chest and bend of stifle. Nice muscle tone with tail correctly set. Happy to award him BD, BOB.
Puppy Bitch (1)
1. Miss W & E Heller & House’s Marlablue Mc Queen. Alert pup with a super dark eye. Nice shapely head with the desired ear carriage. Liked this compact girl with good shoulders, legs set well under her, well defined thumbprints and strong hind quarters. Unfortunately was unsettled on the move today. BP
Junior Bitch (2)
1. Mrs C & Mr D Straughan & Cripps Talanors Time to Shine at Mannikai. Also judged this super girl as a puppy. She is maturing into a confident outgoing girl who was eager to move round the ring. However, once settled she was more balanced and moved well. Lovely head with neck leading into good shoulders, well sprung ribs and desired tuck up. Nicely marked. BB
2. Mrs A Rubula-Swiedrych’s Eaglespur Marissa. Very compact girl with good shoulders, deep chest and desired tuck up. Rather unsettled on the move today.
Open Bitch (4, 2a)
1. Mrs D, Mr P N & Miss E A Church, Dale & Saxton’s Rattustrap Fade to Black (AI) Presented in excellent condition. Nice head with a long neck tapering into sound shoulders. Nice bend of stifle and moved steadily. RBB
2. Mr D & Mrs P Greenslade’s Utterby Green Mint Chocolate SHCM. Lovely looking girl and nicely marked. Good head with well-placed ears. Pleasing deep chest with desired tuck up. Unfortunately had a tendency to pace today.
