MANCHESTER JUDGE BLACKPOOL 19

I have had the great pleasure in judging this great breed for nearly 20 years and it was such a joy to me to award CCs for the first time at this show. Thank you to all the exhibitors who brought their Terriers under me.

PD (1)

1 Oxley’s Digelsa Doubletop. 9 mths of age and a lovely youngster in the making. Muscular in head and body with well shaped dark eye and correct ear shape. Correct front, bone and feet. Good depth and topline. Needs to settle on the move a touch erratic on the move at present.

LD (4,1)

1 Boot’s Harliboo Word Gets Around. A great dog with pleasing head and neck. Correct topline and depth of brisket. Excellent hind quarters and strong on the move.

2 O’Boyle’s Parcelin Furet At Ruffagga. Another pleasing dog of the correct size and shape. Would have preferred him to be better on the stand but when critique was dome her was perfect. Best of heads, front and feet, Excellent topline and moving well front and rear.

3 Almond’s Waglespur Classic Charmer.

OD (5, 2)

1, DCC & BOB, Carter’s Ch Digelsa Declaration. This is truly a beautiful dog of substance. Correct head and neck, front and bone. Excellent topline and depth of brisket with good rib cage. Excellent hind quarters and strong on the move. Delighted to hear he made the cut in the Group.

2 & Res DCC, Church’s Rattustrap Charlie Brown. Another pleasing dog of the correct size and shape and fit to do a days work. Pleasing on the stand with best of heads and strong jaw. Excellent topline and standing better at the end.

3 Dale, Saxton & Bovill’s Rattustrap Pot Lettle Black.

PB (2)

1, BP & Res BCC, Davies & Brown’s Digelsa Dark Indulgence At Wystry. Pleasing head and expression. Good front and feet. Correct topline. Would prefer tail carried better on the move but a good puppy in the making.

2 Rudd’s Digelsa Dark Velvet. Smaller with well shaped body. She was flying her ears on the day but still at an early age. Well shaped head with good front and depth for her age. Good topline. Prefer better on the move.

JB (2)

A difficult class which really made me think.

1 & BJ, Almond’s Digelsa Diamond Diva. This bitch needs more ring training and a stronger handler as she is very head strong. Pleasing head, neck, front and feet. Prefer slightly better in topline on the day, and would like better on the move.

2 O’Boyle’s Ruffagga For Annoria. Left the ring before critique could be done.

LB (5)

1 Olbinson & Kelly’s Rattustrap Citra At Carapast. Lovely quality bitch with excellent head and neck. Correct front, feet and topline. Good depth of brisket and correct ribbing. Pleasing on the move.

2 Church, Dale & Saxton’s Rattustrap Fade To Black. Another quality bitch but for me she was better standing than moving on the day. Pleasing head, neck, front and feet. Right bone and depth with correct topline.

3 West’s Pantycelyn Picture Perfect With Junetta.

OB (5, 2)

1 & BCC, Knight’s Ch Talanors Typically Special. Lovely line on this gorgeous bitch. Pleasing standing and moving. Good head and expression. Good length of neck with correct front and feet. Good depth of brisket for her age. Strong in hind quarters and excellent on the move.

2 Greenslade’s Utterbygreen Mint Chocolat. Good head with lovely eye shape and correct front. Prefer slightly better in topline on the day. Good depth and rib cage. Correct hindquarters and moving with purpose.

3 Knight’s Talanors Diamond Treat.
