MANCHESTER JUDGE BATH 11

Manchester Terriers: First time awarding CCs in this breed, and I thank the Exhibitors for their entries and accepting my decisions in a sporting and courteous manner.

PD (1)

1. Eva’s Sophyla Sam Brown. Stylish young dog just 12 months, good head developing, small keen eye, neat ears, giving overall alert expression. Nice size and shape and held topline on the move, although did have tendency to want to play up his handler, but she managed to get the best out of him. BP and Res Dog CC.

JD (1) 1. S Sam Brown.

PGD (2.1)

1. Saxton & Dale’s Rattustrap Black Sheep. Up to size, but lots of virtues, good front, well boned, deep chest, nice rise over loin giving good outline, good colour and well marked.

LD (4.2)

1. Norriss’ Brookstream Louis De Blue. Nice shape and size, real good rear angulation which produced good driving movement, well set tail and carried well, good head with neat ears used to advantage. Dog CC.

2. Clifton’s Gloryline Henry The Seventh. Larger sort than 1, but of good quality throughout, well bodied, clean shoulders, strong boned.

OD (3)

1. Pyne’s Newtonian Black Rod. Won class on better size and shape and overall balance, nice topline and angulation which completed the picture.

2. Goodwin’s Digelsa Dionysis. Good head and skull, not using ears, well marked with rich tan colour, not the outline of 1.

3. Boggis’ Eaglespur Primetime at Laurenbill.

PB (4)

1. Knight’s Talanors Taylor Made Treat. And a real treat she was, very promising puppy, good balance, head and neck developing well, nice clean front, well boned, free mover, but just faded in challenge for BP, but should have a bright future.

2. Reeve’s Harkeat’s Jump For Joy. Another nice type, but not helping her handler at all, when settled managed to see true movement from soundly constructed front and rear.

3. Smith’s Calastoa’s Lady of Meltham at Simjest.

JB (3)

1. Freer’s Mansiya Casting Circles with Felfree. Very feminine type, clean cut throughout, good head, flat skull, good bite, nicely arched strong neck leading into well made shoulders, good rear construction, well angulated, true mover, and movement decided in her favour in the Challenge. Res BCC.

2. Hammett’s Digelsa Double Take for Bryedal. Very pretty bitch, nicely made throughout, but not as true and sound in movement as 1.

3. Ince’s Fawythen Seapoppy.

NB (3)

1. Buxton’s Talanors Magic Moment. Elegant type, liked size and outline, good head and expression, clean front, good shoulders, producing good reach when moving.

2. H Jump For Joy.

3. Ince’s Eaglespur Mimosa of Fawythen.

PGB (6)

1. Palmer’s Egloshayle Sea Lily. Attractive feminine type without exaggeration, nice size and outline, giving good balance, well marked and of good coat and colour, true and light movement.

2. T Magic Moment.

3. Smith’s Mansiya Midnight Graceful.

LB (3)

1. O’Neill’s Ticknell Hidden Treassure at Hegellan. Good head carried on very nice neck, well set tidy ears, good coat, colour and condition, good bone, moved soundly.

2. Reeve’s Harkeat’s Imperial Imp. Lived up to her name by being impish and boisterous on the table and on the move, however could not deny or ignore many virtues..

3. E Mimosa of Fawythen.

OB (9.2)

1.Oxley’s Ch Digelsa Double Entendre. Best class of the day, and not hard to understand Ch prefixing name, worthy winner and quality type throughout, superb shape and outline, yet retaining that quality of being able to an honest days work, good colour and markings, well bodied, moved well with good tail carriage, pleased to award her Bitch CC and BOB.

2. Palmer’s Egloshayle Black Rosewyn. Nice size and shape, and a pleasure to go over, unlucky to meet 1. Just faded when moving in challenge for Res CC.

3. O’Neill’s Megallan Thunder Bird.
