MANCHESTER JUDGE BATH 09

Manchester Terriers

PD (1)

1 Carter’s Joemario Bradley Beginning at Afilador, just at the gawky stage, nice head with good earset, strong muzzle & good teeth, good topline, appeared very fit for his age & moved reasonably well, good feet & strong legs.

JD (2)

1 Dale’s Megellan Rumble in Rattustrap, difficult to choose between these two & on another day could easily swap places, just preferred the size of 1, together with his slightly shorter coupling he appeared more balanced in his movement, both are well built dogs with good heads & shoulders;

2 Leigh’s Sophyla Sorcerer of Mansiya.

ND (0).

PGD (1)

1 St Clair’s Mimbre First Mate, good size, well marked & nice proportions, moved & handled well, nice shape & is very typy. Just needs a touch more maturity.

LD (2,1a)

1 Holmes’ Egloshayle Black Carlyn, very masculine dog, not making the best of himself today although he responded well to his handler. OD (3) An excellent class of dogs & I was splitting hairs to make my decisions. 1 Norris’ Ch Brookstream Marcus Banks, good sized dog with excellent marking. Would have preferred a slightly more chiselled head but he has excellent shoulders, neck & topline. Strong legs & moves well. CC;

2 O’Neill & Mizen’s Megellan Free Runner, another good dog, was playing up slightly but soon settled into a free & easy movement. Slightly heavier in the head than 1 but his excellent rear angulation put him ahead of 3. RCC;

3 Broxup’s Ch Digelsa Dig Deep at Brockenella.

PB (3)

A very pleasing class of puppy bitches.

1 Knight’s Talanors Special Treat, good size, very collected, moved & handled well. BP;

2 Palmer’s Egloshayle Tangleberry, slightly awkward & not making the best of herself. Both puppies are very nicely made & show great promise;

3 Wallace’s Manchenoir Sunmoonstars.

JB (4,2)

1 O’Neill’s Megellan Thunder Bird, another class where they could easily change places on another day, two well made bitches, both capable of moving well with all the usual good features, just preferred the head of 1, will enjoy watching these mature;

2 Thurlow’s Brenandi Genteel Gypsy at Erkenwyne.

NB (0).

PGB (3,1)

1 Loch’s Eaglespur Kiwi Shadow of Trenthyde, neither of these really made the best of themselves today. Both are reasonably well built, although 1 was carrying a bit too much weight, she moved best;

2 Smith’s Mansiya Midnight Graceful. LB (4) Another excellent class of Manchesters. 1 Knight’s Talanors Tomorrows Dreams, a very classy bitch, very typy, is well made & has a classic outline, moved very well. RCC;

2 Palmer’s Egloshayle Lady Mauser, smaller built than 1 but still good all round, moves well & holds her topline moving & standing;

3 de Lavis-Trafford’s Tyburn Lotis.

OB (2,1)

1 Oxley’s Ch Digelsa Double Entendre, what can I say about this bitch that hasn’t already been said, she is a beauty of a Manchester & moves so well. CC & BOB.
