BD, BOB and Junior Group 2. PGB (1) 1 Baldwin’s Robelroy Renisha. Spot on 2 yrs, ultra feminine, very much a refined rectangle in head, very little stop, correct in eye and ear, good in neck and angles, smart and level, excellent jacket, soundly parallel on the move and on good feet, just a bit finely drawn all over, notwithstanding her fairer sex. OB (1) 1 Vickers, Punter, Fryer & Dams’ Eskwyre Veronica Into Hopecharm. Three and a half yrs, half sister to the BOB yet somewhat different in type and with the benefit of maturity. Instantly appealed as Lakeland type as have been taught it, rectangular head with an excellent eye, ears struck me as more Fox Terrier with their high fold and relative lift, wider through front than her young rival but moderately short and well coupled with enviable shelfing behind her well set tail, excellent jacket, beautifully presented, well angulated fore and aft so moved with balance, keeping her shape, if not 100 per cent as accurate in front as her half brother, welcomed the opportunity to ‘compare notes’ post judging that was much appreciated. Instantly appealed as Lakeland type as have been taught it, rectangular head with an excellent eye, ears struck me as more Fox Terrier with their high fold and relative lift, wider through front than her young rival but moderately short and well coupled with enviable shelfing behind her well set tail, excellent jacket, beautifully presented, well angulated fore and aft so moved with balance, keeping her shape, if not 100 per cent as accurate in front as her half brother, welcomed the opportunity to ‘compare notes’ post judging that was much appreciated.
