LAKELAND BLACKPOOL 09 Judge: Mr G Corish LAKELAND JUDGE BLACKPOOL 09 Lakeland Terriers A nice entry. JD (2) 1 Eskwyre Back In The Red, very smart young dog, good reach of neck, excellent topline & tailset, good in hindquarters, good head & expression. BP. OD (1) 1 Ch Louieville Red Prince, well known dog & in good order. Would like to have seen more top coat on him. He is sound both ways, good reach of neck, excellent hindquarters, well presented, good length of head. Heavy in back skull & ears not his fortune. For BOB I felt the bitch scored in head & better layback of shoulder. BD. JB (2) 1 Kilmarth Andromeda, red of nice size & type, good in head & ears, straight front, good bone, excellent topline & undocked tail, in good order & in nice coat texture; 2 Brocolitia Red Rose, young of course & not as mature as 1 in coat & body, very feminine head & expression, good front, good topline. Just needs bit more time to body up & will look very different. PGB (3,1a) 1 Brocolitia Follow On, up to size but doubt she will grow any more. Grizzle, good reach of neck, excellent topline, good head & expression, sound in front. Could be a shade shorter in loin; 2 Stanstead Try This One, nice size b/t, not as good in head as 1 being shorter & a bit heavy in back skull. Nice type but hopped most of the time moving & so had to pay the penalty. OB (1) 1 Eskwyre A Fine Romance, b/t of true Lakie type, good for size, sound both ways, good reach of neck, excellent topline & tailset, good in front. When it came to BOB I just preferred her head & she carried a better textured coat & better shoulder placement. Beautiful presentation. BOB. GEOFF CORISH |
