KERRY BLUE NATIONAL TERRIER 10 Judge/s:Maurice Marshall KERRY BLUE JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 10 Kerry Blue Terriers MPD (0). PD (4) 1 Ramsay’s Saredon Rainbow Warrier, classy dog, in good form, great head & neck, good forehand, topline & tailset, grand rib, good bend of stifle. Movement good in front, but behind not good enough. JD & ND (0). PGD (4) 1 Wilkinson’s Granemore Padraig of Cranmoss, lovely dog, great head & expression, good front, nice legs & feet, grand rib. A touch unsettled behind; 2 Gallett’s Cyres The Master, decent sort, but needs to settle to his job. In good order. LD (10) 1 Dale & Cooper’s Kamaghan Ace Lynnsto, beautiful dog, well prepared, good neck & front, nice rib, tail well placed, super coat, nice quarters. Moved a touch close behind; 2 Ward’s Rimbert Phantom Menace, good coat & condition. A touch coarser in skull, otherwise very nice; 3 Pinfold’s Cyres Master Craftsman. OD (14) 1 Quigg’s Ir Ch Madragorm Maximus at Irisblu, superb stallion in every way, great head, good neck, short coupled, strong quarters, good depth of brisket, small hocks. Perhaps a touch strong in front. Great bone & substance, moved very soundly. CC; 2 Davani’s Int/Multi Ch Dandy Black And Blue Rokoko, superb dog, in great form & putting on a very good show, great head & expression, good neck & front, powerful bone & substance, well sprung ribs, tail well placed, moved very well. RCC; 3 Netherwood & Main’s Ch Nedavir Notorious. MPB (4) A. PB (4) 1 Munro & Averis’ Saredon Showtime to Arkama, nice small bitch, in great form, but needs time. A great mover. BP. JB (2) 1 Baxter’s Arkama It Girl, in good nick & with plenty of promise. Needs time to mature & settle, when finished could do well. NB (0). PGB (6) 1 Peacock’s Rimbert Queen Aravis, very classy & attractive bitch, great head & neck, well placed ears, correct in front, good legs & feet, small hocks, moved very well; 2 Roxburgh’s Cranmoss Amethest, a shade bigger than 1. Good neck & front, good rib. Appeared a little lethargic & as such moved a little uncertainly. LB (6) 1 Peacock’s Cranmoss Millie, grand head, a touch upright in front. Great coat & condition, tail well placed, moved very well. RCC. OB (10) 1 Davies’ Ch Perrisblu Kennislain’s Chelsey, one that I would like for myself, a ovely type with great head & expression, good neck, lovely front, great rib, nice tailset, strong quarters, well set hocks, lovely mover, lovely coat & condition. CC, BOB & BIS; 2 Clarke-O’Neill’s Lemracdream Memphis Belle, a size larger, but in great nick. Lovely head, well arched neck, good front, sound rib, nice set on, strong quarters. Needs time to settle. |
