BOB Ch. Lemracdream the Navigator - BCC Irisblu Boston Rose at Torum
I would like to thank the Kerry Blue Terrier Club of England for affording me the opportunity to award CCs for the first time.
My Dog winner was one of the best that I have judged and was delighted to award him the CC. As to the rest of the exhibits I felt that the Bitches where better than the Dogs and this is reflected in my placing of the Puppy Bitch over the Reserve CC winning puppy Dog.
Hugh Jordan, Miculadh Kerry Blue Terriers.
Veteran Dog (1)
1. S. Cooper’s Ch/Swe.Ch/Vet.Lux.Ch. Rollick’s Fool for Fame (Imp. Swe.) (ShCM)
My third encounter with this Veteran and pleased to see that he is still the ring.
Pleasing head and outline moved well and with a bit more animation than when I previously judged him. Coat starting to darken but as expected with his age.
Puppy Dog
1. A. Gallett’s Lakki Kerry Vero Cavalier (Imp)
Quality pup, Good Head neck, best of toplines, well set tail that was used and carried well.
Top sized for me, don’t know if he will grow on, if he stays as he is then he should end up a nice masculine male. Reserve CC.
2. Daly’s Commah Gern
Again a puppy full of quality, Cracking head and neck, best of coat and colour. Not an easy personal decision for me. Just preferred the composure of 1st.
Limit Dog (2)
1. P. Carvey’s Dollagh Intercity Gent
Nice head and expression, Long neck, level topline, Good coat and colour. All giving a pleasing outline when standing.
2. C. Davani’s Kebulak Only the Brave
Compact dog, with good colour, Fine head, would like ear setting a little lower. Difficult to access on movement as he was a little over eager.
Open Dog (3:1a)
1. C. Clarke-O’Neill’s Ch. Lemracdream the Navigator.
Entered the ring and took over, Confident masculine male. On the money with regards to breed standard size. Good head, ear carriage spot on. Strong neck, level topline, bang on tail set. Great angulation. Want the definition of “Upstanding” well this is the dog that shows it. Confident in the ring, stands for examination and moves with vigour. Best in Show.
2. F. & J. Pinfold’s Cyres Licensed to Thrill
Good head, long neck, level topline. Would like more positivity in regards to attitude, not using ears to advantage. Ring not suitable for this dog, feel he could move out better on shorter lead and outdoors. Lead was pulling him back and therefore lifting his front legs way to high.
Puppy Bitch (1)
1. C. Davani’s Kebulak Flash your Assets.
Top class puppy, Nice head and expression, Balanced neck and compact body. Unsettled a little in her class with regards to movement, but pulled it together in the puppy challenge, Best Puppy in show
Junior Bitch (1)
1. Prendergast’s Miss Tilly Trotter
Compact puppy with nice head and neck, well angulated. Could have been shown to better advantage.
Post Grad Bitch (3:1a)
1. P. Smith’s Irisblu Candy Stripes.
Balanced bitch with good head and expression. Long neck, good topline. Good coat, colour coming.
2.S.A. Carson’s Kebulak Miss Sixty
Good headed bitch with long neck , good topline, Good coat and colour. Displaying a little too much fire. Remember “Disciplined Gameness” But handler coped well with her.
Limit Bitch (4:3a)
1. C. Forrest & C.W. Scott’s Lacarnaveen Orla.
Good head and expression, long neck and level topline, well angulated, moved and handled well.
Very pleasing outline. Reserve CC. Pushed hard for CC.
Open Bitch (4:1a)
1. R. Ramsey’s Irisblu Boston Rose at Torum
Best of heads, True expression, Long neck and level topline blending into good tail set. Positive movement once settled. CC winner
2. F. & J. Pinfold’s Cyres Born to Thrill
Nice head , long neck, level topline, good coat and colour. Again like to see this bitch outside with a shorter lead. Very similar to her brother that I judged also today.
3. C. Forrest & C.W. Scott’s Lacarnaveen Mary Kate
Compact with fine head, good expression, good colour, moved well but would like more vigour in movement.
