Judge Bill Gray
I thank the Kerry club committee for their kind invitation to judge a breed I love. I was pleased with the overall quality of dogs, thank you to the exhibitors for their support.
PD 1
1st Baxter, Clanciarrai Pecker Dune. Nice youngster, good length to head with dark eyes, well laid shoulders into straight front. Good angulation all round, well bodied with correct tail, moved out with spirit.
ND 1
1st Martin & Smyth, Lynnsto Dark Days Gaelgorm, nice shape in profile, decent head with dark eyes and well set ears, nicely bodied with strong loin and level topline, which he kept with his easy action.
GD 1
1st Bagworth & Connor, Faragoma Lucky Little Fella, nice sized lad, good head with strong mouth. Well bodied with good angulation fore and aft, presented well, moved out easily
PGD 1
1st L Dark Days
LD 3-2
1st White, Lansmars Earl Ragnar, nice head with good neck and shoulders, well bodied, strong quarters, movement was lacklustre.
OD 5-2
1st Birch, CH Perrisblu Razor Sharp. Such a well balanced dog, with plenty of attitude. Strong head with dark eyes, correct ear placement, punishing jaw with good bite. Strong bone throughout, with superb muscle tone. Level topline with muscular loin, strong rear with hocks well let down, well presented in condition and colour, moved out with good reach & drive. CC & BIS
2nd Walters & Davani, Kebulak Blue Faced Lie Kamaghen. Nice head with dark eyes and strong mouth. Well bodied with good colour, decent angulation, top line firm kept on the move. RCC
3rd Martin, Gaelgorm Shades Of The Dark
PB 2
1st Clarke-O’Neill, Showtime Lady At Lemracdream, classy youngster with a lovely feminine head, body with good depth and spring of rib, muscle covering coming nicely, well angulated quarters. Moved out eagerly, BP
2nd Bagworth & Connor, Faragoma Fluffles Of Beauty, only 6m, but she shows great promise, everything in the right place, coat coming nicely, moved out well, obviously enjoying her day out. These two for me are both ones to watch.
GB 2
1st Bagworth & Connor, Faragoma Perla Twinkle Toes, nicely made girl, sweet head with correct ear carriage, good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Good bone with nice muscle tone, level top line, rear showing good angulation, which showed in the easy driving action.
2nd Davani & Potts, Kebulak Blue Velvet, nice youngster, but sadly seemed a little out of condition, muscle tone soft, moving she lost her topline.
PGB 2-1
1st Dale, Avalanche Eire Kerry Ivanka Lynnsto (Imp Rus), lovely type, clean head of good length with good mouth, well angulated all through, nicely sprung rib, level top line with good tail set, moved out with drive
LB 2
1st Howard, Kebulak Good Girl Gone Bad, typy nice sized girl, feminine head & expression, well bodied with good spring of rib, strong hindquarters, super presentation in good coat, in profile move was a joy to watch. RCC
2nd Wilkinson, Mauve Of Hearts At Cranmoss, nice type, sweet head but carried weight which spoils her outline and movement.
OB 4
1st Birch, Perrisblu Obsession, I will say that this girl is up to size, but in no way coarse or exaggerated, she has a feminine head with lovely expression, seen in profile she is balanced throughout, well sprung rib, level top line with good tail set, her super quarters allowed her to move with a driving action second to none. CC
2nd Muart, Montealtos Daisy Dyke, smart typy girl, sweet head and expression, well bodied with good quarters, smart coat and handled well, moved with drive.
3rd Davani, Kebulak La Robe
4th Prendergast, Lakki Kerrigan Pride With Glory
