IRISH WELSH KC 26 Judge: Mr J Horswell Puppy D (1) 1ST 3677 - Sonorra Festive Cracker (Mr & Mrs Connell) V promising pup, liked his outline. Long head. Good eye and expression. Lengthy neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. V good body and firm in topline. Moderate rear. Super coat texture. Just a bit playful in front moving. BP Junior d (3,1) 1ST 3690 - Montelle All Is Bright at Sunnystone (ai) (Mrs G Thomas) Liked his proportions. Fairly long in head. Dark eyes. Lengthy neck with well laid shoulders. Super body. He just turns hocks in slightly stood. In v good coat. 2ND 3689 - Coeurflamant Aodhan (Mr M C Shortman) Super temperament and a lovely expression. He is in v good coat. Strong masc head. Well balanced in angulation. A little too short in back. Post grad d(1) 1ST 3689 - Coeurflamant Aodhan (Mr M C Shortman) Limit d (1 abs) Open d (4) 1ST 3676 - Sonorra Enter The Dragon (Mr & Mrs Connell) Presents a v good picture. He is in super coat. Liked his head proportions and not to wide in skull. Good eye and expression. Long neck into a fairly good shoulder. Chest to elbow. Firm in topline. Moderate rear. Accurate on move. CC & BOB. Congratulations on G1 2ND 3673 - Lux Ch Newguild Royale (Mrs K Bentley) Lots to like, he is shorter in back than 1, and slightly stronger in skull and cheek. V good ears. Enough neck. Topline is ok. In good coat. Liked his rear. RCC 3RD 3678 - Montelle Flash Light to Lionwood (Mrs A J Cooke) RES 3688 - Holbam Midsummer Knight at Ruffmar (ai) JW OSW ShCEx (Miss M Ruffles)
Special beginners d/b (3,1) 1ST 3672 - Mcfinn's Betsy Boo (Miss E & Mr Jf Bennett & Kennedy) 2ND 3675 - Magairlin Swan River (Mrs Jane Buss) Could carry a little less weight. Flies her ears, otherwise liked her head. Lengthy neck, chest to elbow. Good topline. Moderate rear. Moved well.
Veteran d/b. Ne Puppy b (1) Delightful temperament and is v feminine.coat coming in and slightly heavy in body. Lengthy head, lovely eye and expression. Enough neck. Chest to elbow. Needs a bit more width of thigh and to firm up moving. Junior b (2) Fem pair who are quite evenly matched. 1ST 3682 - Dartmoorred Vixen Tor (Dr A Fitter) Has better ears and tail carriage than 2. Long enough head. Liked her neck and shoulder. Feet ok. Chest to elbow. Topline ok. Well made rear with low hocks. In v good coat. Liked her shape. RCC 2ND 3686 - Pliquette Pandora (Mrs M Lovelace) She has a good outline and is well made. Liked her head, ears could be better. Long neck. Chest just above elbow. Well bodied. In v good coat. Slightly too much hind angulation. V typy.
Post grad b. (3,1) 1ST 3672 - Mcfinn's Betsy Boo (Miss E & Mr Jf Bennett & Kennedy) 2ND 3681 - Silbraehill Miss Dyna Mite (Ms A Davidson) V fem b whose expression appealed. Ears could be better. She is in v good coat. Slightly shallow in body. Well ribbed back. Level topline. Quite a good rear. Tail could be better. Super jacket. Limit b (3,1) 1ST 3683 - Ghyllslap Limerick (Dr A Fitter) In really hard condition and a super coat. Fairly lengthy head. Dark eyes. Ears ok enough neck. Just a bit wide in front and shoulder could be better laid. Chest to elbow. Topline is ok. Liked her rear. Moved ok. 2ND 3675 - Magairlin Swan River (Mrs Jane Buss) Open b (3,1) 1ST 3685 - Eata The Great with Brazan (Mrs M Lovelace)
In v hard condition and excellent coat. Fairly lengthy head. High set ears. Lengthy neck into a well laid shoulder. Chest to elbow. V good feet. Correct body and loin. Liked her rear. Could be tidier in front action. CC 2ND 3674 - Holbam Midsummer Sprite (ai) (Miss M Bradshaw) She is just a bit too long in loin. Lengthy head. Well set ears. Enough neck. Chest just above elbow.
