IRISH WELSH KC 17 Judge: Mr F Kane BEST OF BREED : 4947 BARKER, Mr & Mrs A & J & AVERIS, Mr J & GODDARD September Morn On Irvonhill IRISH JUDGE WELSH KC 17 A pleasure for me to judge the breed. Size varied in both sexes. No signs of cracked pads. A couple of exhibits I liked a lot were not in their best coats to go higher on the day. Many thanks to my stewards, Geoff Tar and Sue Hann. JD (1) 1 Seabridge & Goddard's Sujoncla Little Powder With Oudenarde. 14 mths, lovely breed type, racy and full of quality with excellent head, ears can be neater, lovely eye and expression, well made throughout, needs to fill out a little and some more coat will finish him off, but full of type. In the challenge scored in his beautiful head and front to take the CC, his third. Should have a great future with maturity. Whilst taller than the bitch, I felt he had the finish of body and coat to take BOB on the day. LD (1) 1 Bamsey's HolbamCeltic Warrior. 15 mths, excellent size and type, very good neck and shoulder, good ribcage, could have a little more foreface to balance skull, excellent ears, could be firmer in topline, good on the move, lacked a little coat on the day. I liked him. OD (5) 1 Moakes' Ch Saredon Lord Of The Dance Of Jomoaka ShCM. 4 yrs, of correct size and lovely type. I'd prefer him a little strong in foreface but he is full of quality and appealed for type and balance, could be stronger in feet, good coat, best topline and balance in this class. 2 Anderson's Ben-oskar Vom Obersten Holz At Kerrykeel (Imp). 2 yrs, a little heavy in head but scored in raciness and topline to win this place. A little strong in bone. 3 Cooke's Ch Montelle Carvillius Gold JW. VB (2, 1) 1 Nevill's Courtington Elena At Rosemonelle. 9 yrs old, in good form, racy and in good coat, a little broad in skull and ears carried high, sound on the move. BV. JB (2) 1 Bannister's Holbam Celtic Nuala. A typy 15 mth old who is racy in outline and was in excellent coat. Very good ribcage. I'd prefer a little more strength in foreface, good skull, ear carried a little high, appealed greatly for type and balance and needs better handling to make the most of this good bitch. Res CC. 2 Bamsey's Holbam Celtic Miss Chief. 15 mths, excellent size and type. I preferred leg length of the winner who was in better coat. A good mover, very good eye, feet can be stronger. PGB (2) 1 Henry's Trinzy Hair N'graces. 15 mths, top size bitch in excellent coat, flat skull and good foreface, correct ear carriage, racy in outline and good on the move, she looks a little too long for balance at the moment and maturity in body will help her. 2 Wortley's Jarabica Tiger Lily. 20 mths, smaller bitch built on more compact lines, excellent coat and sound on the move but needs a little more neck to give her more raciness in forehand. LB (4) 1 Connell's Wyndam Nuala At Sonorra. 2 yrs old. I'd prefer her a little higher on the leg but in excellent coat, good head and excellent expression. 2 Ruffles' Holbam Celtic Whisper At Ruffmar JW. 3 yrs, I liked her leg and proportions and good head and ears, sound rear, not in the coat of the winner who was a little firmer in topline. 3 Hobson's Errdwiltsir Irish Bells. OB (4) 1 Barker, Averis & Goddard's September Morn On Irvonhill. 2 yrs, in peak condition and looked a picture. I'd prefer her a little longer in body but she has correct ribcage, very good head and eye, went very well and stood away here. Took CC and had the pull of maturity in rib and coat to take BOB on the day. 2 Anderson's Ir Kerrykeel Aoife. 2 yrs, racy bitch with good leg length and body length, not in her best coat. I'd prefer more angulation in front and this shows in her topline. 3 Nevill's Rosemonelle Isabella.
