1 Cooke’s Montelle Carvillius Gold, 15 months & excellent overall type but lacked a little confidence in the class. Typical head & keen eye & expression, elegant neck, racy outline with good basic balance. Tight harsh jacket, in fantastic muscular condition, moves very well going away but needs to tighten in front. Well worth persevering with as he has great potential. Came to life in the challenge when he saw the competition, pulled himself together, used his tail & so won his first CC.

1 Thomas’ Montelle Royal Leader at Sunnystone, good basic type, pleasing head profile, nicely arched neck, good basic proportions, could have a little more rear angulation. Moves OK behind, a little elbowy in front. RCC;

2 Hardman’s Drumbilla Diablo Amidst Bonosue, 7 year old carrying his age well with good coat texture. Not quite the head of 1, lower set on & not using his tail.

1 Walker’s Montelle I’m A Lady Too, 10 months, generally well balanced & good basic type. Feminine head, keen expression, full of attitude, quality coat, moves well behind but needs to settle in front. RCC & BP;

2 Hardman’s Bonosue Painted Lady, 10 months, shorter on leg & not so outgoing as 1 but solidly built with excellent angulation & very good coat texture. When something caught her attention, had a typical expression.

1 Stahle & Nichols’ Shallcome’s Shenanakins, young bitch in full coat of good texture. Decent headpiece, well put together with nicely crested neck & firm topline. Needs to tighten in front movement but otherwise went well.

LB (2)

1 Hardman’s Bonosue Whippersnapper, basically typical but could carry a little more weight to advantage. Adequate head, correct proportions of outline, moves OK behind but tends to high step in front.

OB (1)

1 Barker & Averis’ Am Ch Irvonhill Leave It To Me, mature bitch in the pink of condition, feminine head, typical expression, correctly proportioned, topline could be firmer but pulls herself together on the move where she really looks the part. In fit, hard condition. Easily won the CC & BOB.

VB (1)

1 Hardman’s Bonosue Snow Storm, 8 years, rather compact but very sound & in great coat. Typical eye, not too bothered about using her ears.
