IRISH NATIONAL TERRIER 22 Judge: Miss A Bradley SBD/B (3) 1 Case’s Slaneyfinn No Irish Need Apply. Dog with good length of head, dark eye, ears a touch heavy but uses well, good bite, has ample length of neck, pleasing length to body, well ribbed back, positive on the move with good set on, nicely presented and handled. 2 Thomas & Print’s Bilarny Edna Cotton Socks. Strongly made bitch, balanced head, correct ears, dark eye, moderate length of neck, medium length of back, good depth of chest, sound on the move. 3 Owen & Owen’s Kentwone Birmingham. Pleasing make and shape of head, very good ears, dark eye, good bite, moderate length of neck, strong well made body with good depth of chest, steady on the move. 1 Brown’s Sujoncla Pawnee River. Decent head, flat skull, dark well placed eye, good bite, has fair length of neck, strong well made body, well ribbed with good depth for age, in good coat, nicely handled. 1 Martin’s Griffin Galanthus Gunderic. This young dog of medium sizer has excellent head, well proportioned flat skull, clean cheeks, correct dark small eyes and copybook ears, fair length of neck to decent shoulders, good length of back, well ribbed with reasonable depth of chest, has excellent harsh coat, A1 presentation, just needing more furnishings to grow into to complete the picture. 2 Case’s Slaneyfinn No Irish Need Apply. 1 Atwell’s Kerrykeel Conchobhar At Xanwil. Nice for size, pleasing head and expression, flat skull, well set and used ears, strong muzzle, really keen expression, has lengthy neck to well laid shoulders, ample depth of chest, firm back, tail set good, can be a little over enthusiastic with carriage, smart and positive on the move. 2 Simons’ Saredon Red Berry. Strongly made exhibit but all Irish, has good length of head, dark eye, good strength of foreface, good bite, has straight front with fair length of neck, good length to back, strong loin, ample depth of chest, good set on and tail and carriage, in nice coat of good texture. 1 Anderson’s Ch Ros Michelin At Kerrykeel. Smart and well turned out, possesses a long head, flat skull, clean cheeks, nice size ears, dark well placed eye, good strength of muzzle, front straight with moderate length of neck to correct length of back, well ribbed with decent depth of chest, loin strong, tail set good, sound and steady movement. CC. 2 Grant & Hemmings’ Courtington Ten Sovereigns. This is an upstanding racy exhibit, head of nice proportions, ample length, flat skull, well placed and used ears, has a reachy neck to well laid shoulders, good length to body which needs a little more time to develop in chest, showed and moved out well. RCC. 1 Atkin & Atkin’s Gengis Khan. This boy does not look his age, in lovely body condition, spot on for weight, has a balanced head, dark well placed eyes, strong jaw, moderate length of neck to medium length of back, accurate movement, presented in excellent coat. 1 Griffiths’ Sonorra Scarlet Ribbon. At 7 mths coping well with all the show noise. Has good length of head, dark well placed eyes, ears rather unsettled at present, has ample length of neck to decent shoulders, good length of back, chest developing nicely. Pleasing set on. 1 Delaney’s Carliams Hells Cat (IKC). A very forward youngster, balanced head, small dark expressive eyes, neat ears, has fair length of neck, straight front, medium length of back, good ribbing, strong loin, has good set on and tail carriage, moved with purpose. BP. Congratulations going on to RBPIS. 2 Owen & Owen’s Kentwone Birmingham. Scored in head with excellent ears, dark well placed eyes, flat skull, stop just visible, good strength to taw, has a straight front, moderate length of body with good depth of chest, moved ok, just needs to tighten in front. Today lacking in coat having just been stripped, but could see texture there. Will look very different when coat comes through. 1 Davidson’s Saredon Miss Davidson. Nice type with good bone and substance, head of good proportions, dark eye, flat skull, good strength of muzzle, straight front, fair length of neck, well made body and nice length, deep chest, well ribbed, scores in excellent coat, movement rather unsettled today. 2 Owen & Owen’s Kentwone Birmingham. 3 Kennedy’s Tippanagh Doagh Devil Dancer. 1 Karau’s Balirolyat Molly’s A Diva. Has good length of head, flat skull, dark well placed eyes, nice size ears but not using to advantage, pleasing front, fair length of neck, has good depth of chest, is well ribbed back, correct tail set, sound in movement. 2 Hobson’s Erredwiltsir Shine A Light. Head long, clean cheeks, dark eye, flat skull, could make more use of ears, fair length of neck, medium length of body, moved ok when settled. 3 Ruffles & Williamson’s Holbam Celtic Erin. 1 Wortley & Wortley’s Jarabica Grace O’Malley. Most feminine girl, has a nicely proportioned head, flat skull, well placed small dark eye, visible stop, well filled foreface, would prefer a slightly larger ear but uses them well, straight front, good bone and feet, well made body, deep chest, well ribbed, strong loin and well presented coat. 2 Redman’s Holbam Celtic Little Minx. Nice size, presents an attractive profile, has a balanced head, flat skull, well placed dark eye, good strength of foreface, although ear carriage a little erratic at times does display a keen expression, neck is of moderate length, body strong and fair length with good depth of chest, well ribbed, can cover the ground well on the move when settled. 1 Platen’s Jun Ch Magic Heroes Coimbra Ger. Presents the perfect balanced picture with her correct red coat put down to the last minute. Love her head and expression which just shouts ‘Irish Terrier’. On the move displays a great profile with good length of neck, flowing into well laid shoulders allowing for elegant head carriage. Her moderate length of back is well ribbed with ample depth of chest, showing a gentle curve to the underline, her topline is completed with a perfect set on and tail carriage. Pleased to award her CC and BOB. 2 Anderton’s Kerrykeel Daicota. This exhibit is so typically Irish, but on the day was not in her best coat, but pleased to award the RCC. Scores well in head and expression with her excellent ears, dark well placed eye and strength of muzzle, has a straight front, ample neck, fair length of body, just needing a touch more condition, moved out well, tail on top. 3 Atkin & Atkin’s Ch Holbam Celtic Summer ShCM ShCEx. 1 Ruffles’ Holbam Celtic Whisper At Ruffmar JW ShCM. This nearly 8 yr old was in good form, possesses a lovely head with typical Irish expression, fair length of neck to well laid shoulders, nice length of back, well ribbed, good depth of chest, has decent set on, looked good on the move. 2 Hobson’s Erredwiltsir Irish Bells. This 7 yr old was nicely presented in good coat, has strong body, though carrying a little too much condition, has a balanced level flat skull, dark eyes, although a little bold, has ample depth of chest and well ribbed, moved with spirit but going a little close behind. |
