IRISH LKA 18 Judge: Mrs Jill Looker (Frostrow) BEST OF BREED : 5905 WAMSLER Mrs K Kells Starlight IRISH JUDGE LKA 18 It was a pleasure to give tickets for the first time at LKA, my favourite winter show for very many years. My thanks to the committee for inviting me, and to the exhibitors who entered. All dogs had clean feet and good dentition. 1 Bamsey's Holbam Celtic Wizard. Lovely size for 7 months and personality plus showing his excellent conformation off to the best effect. Balanced head with good ear placement and strength of foreface lovely neck and shoulder running into a firm topline, correct tail set, well boned limbs, tidy feet sound hindquarters with good turn of stifle quality coat of even colour, moved freely an exciting prospect. Best Puppy. 2 Nevill's Norakim An Storr At Rosemonelle. Another 7 month old of pleasing size, slightly lighter frame, good length of head ears not quite settled yet nor coat so clear as first. Lovely racy body, well set tail, grand hindquarters, moved very soundly keeping his topline... time is on his side. 1 Holbam Celtic Wizard. 2 Norakin An Storr At Rosemonelle. 1 Averis, Barker & Hardman's Red Lucifer At Bonosue. What a lovely outline this dog makes,well boned and of ideal size, and every part fitting so well together, would have liked to see him use his ears more to enhance his expression. Moved soundly keeping a firm topline. ideal coat, perfectly presented as always. Res CC. 2 Holbam Celtic Wizard. 3 Cooke's Montelle Look Of Gold. 1 Simons Saredon Red Berry. Up to size but presented a pleasing outline, masculine head good neck and shoulder, clean front straight limbs, well ribbed back, nicely angulated hindquarters correct tailset, steady mover, well trimmed quality coat, enjoying his day. 2 McSally's Mister Malachi. 10 month old dog with a lovely head and of sound type, fidgety standing but came into his own on the move where he showed himself to good effect, moveing soundly, a little more leg furnishing would add to the overall picture. 1 Mister Malachi. 1 Thomas' Ch Lead The Way To Montelle. Smart elegant racy dog with plenty of substance, balanced head flat skull and clean cheeks, good expression using his ears well, arched neck into good shoulders well ribbed back strong loin well muscled hindquarters, correct tail set and carriage, nice turn of stifle hocks well let down driving well on the move very good jacket. CC. Best Dog. 2 Rundle & Williams' Ch Sidewater Sea Fury. Attractive dog, lovely head and neat ears, nicely arched neck and flat shoulders, well ribbed back to stong quarters, and short hocks giving powerful movement. 3 Brookes' Ch Turith The Lawyer At Zetamaz. 1 Ruffles & Williamson's Holbam Celtiic Erin. Ideal size for 7 months, lovely balanced length of head with small dark eye, ears not settled as yet, elegant neck with good front and shoulder placement, straight limbs, racy body, firm loin, sound hindquarters, good tail set, kept a good topline on the move. 2 Redman's Holbam Celtic Little Minx. Litter sister to above and not quite the elegant outline or maturity, nevertheless a very confident puppy who showed herself well. In good coat and condition. 1 Seabridge's Sujoncla Lolo Creek. Nicley balanced 11 month old with good length of head dark eye, strong foreface, lovely length of neck into clean shoulders, straight limbs, correct body, loin and tail set, good width of thigh, pleasing turn of stifle, moved soundly, well presented and handled. 2 Holbam Celtic Erin. 3 Holbam Celtic Little Minx. 1 Wamsler's Kells Starlight. A truly beautiful feminine bitch, balanced headpiece, grand earset and carriage, adds to her Irish expression. Flat skull, strong foreface clean front, good length of arched muscular neck into correct shoulders, good bone on her perfectly straight forelegs, well ribbed back, strong loin, pleasing hindquarters with well let down hocks finished with an ideal tail set, effortless movement coming and going. Presentation and coat quality immaculate, she pushes the boundries of excellance. CC and BOB. 2 McIver's Pinleygreen Golden Rocket. Lighter frame and looking less mature, head of fair length ears need to settle straight forelimbs quality jacket, good turn of stifle and kept her topline on the move. 3 Holbam Celtic Little Minx. 1 Cooke's Royal Lady At Montelle. Lovely size, and in very good coat, moving rather wide behind. 2 Price's Magairlin Black Magic Woman. Another of good size and conformation pleasing head and ear set, lovely jacket well worked, not moving so well in front. 3 Pinleygreen Golden Rocket. 1 Hobson's Errdwiltsir Irish Bells. Good size and a lovely headpiece and ear set, she looks right at you, pleasing forehand, sound limbs and feet, body ok into strong loin, balanced hindquarters and tailset finished the picture, well presented coat moving very soundly for and aft. Res CC. 2 Ruffle's Holbam Celtic Whisper. Another lovely bitch and a pleasure to go over, today her coat was not quite at its best, and she lacked muscle tone following her litter. 3 Lee's Sujoncla Goyathlay. 1 Hemmings & Grant's Ch Courtington Storm Angela. A beautiful head on this feminine bitch with a small dark eye giving a good expression, she just keeps on improving, coat not quite at its best today, but she moves very soundly and is a worthy titleholder. 2 Pratt's Saradon Leading Lady Of Terrijay. Liked her a lot, she has a well balanced head and good ear set, pleasing neck and shoulder loved her body, loin, and hindquarters not overdone in any way, her tailset completed an attractive picture, moving rather loosely in front. 3 Atkins' Holbam Celtic Summer. 1 Price's Sujoncla Dancing Orchid. Loved this 7 year old, she has a beautiful head and eye,nicly arched neck, lovely shoulder topline and tailset good straight limbs and tidy feet, in great condition she outclassed younger dogs on the move. 7years is nothing in this breed, what good lasters they are. 2 Nevill's Rosemonelle Isabella. Another 7 year old on good form and showing herself well today, in good condition and a lovely jacket very sound on the move both ways. 1 Nolcini Holbam Celtic Kate. A bitch I have always liked, ideal size and typically Irish in outlook not quite in her best jacket and movement was a little erratic today. 2 Sujoncla Goyathlay. Attractive bitch, taller and finer build, neatly presented moving well.
