IRISH LKA 12 Judge: Miss Ann Bradley IRISH JUDGE LKA 12 Irish Terriers MPD (2) 1 Kiely’s Rock On Riley, well grown, long head, flat skull, well placed ears with nice lift, dark eye, pleasing expression, fair length of neck, straight front, well ribbed back, good set on, sound movement. BP; 2 Stahle & Nichols’ Shallcome’s Brian Boru, better for size, balanced head. Ears a little unsettled. Moderate length of neck, deep chest, good spring of rib, nice bone. Lacking a little in confidence. PD (2) 1 Rock On Riley; 2 S Brian Boru. JD (1) 1 Bamsey’s Holbam Pearly Jack, elegant youngster, clean head of good length, well placed ears, small dark eye giving keen expression, fair length of neck, good length of back, well ribbed back, excellent tailset & carriage, covers the ground well on the move. PGD (3) 1 Rundle’s Sidewater Master Cruiser, correct size, pleasing head, clean cheeks, dark eye & neat ears, moderate length of neck, reasonable depth of chest, good set on. A little more body would be to advantage; 2 Crehan’s Kerrykeel Daithi, tall & racy, long head, well placed & carried ears, fair length of neck, straight front, good bone, well padded feet, coat neatly trimmed, moved OK. Lost a little in topline; 3 Redman’s Applerock Lord Stefan. LD (3) 1 Lovelace’s Brazan Manatoba, correct size, balanced head, flat skull, small dark eyes, neat well placed ears giving typical Irish expression. Ample neck, straight front, moderate length of back, good depth of chest, nice spring of rib, holds good topline, correct tail carriage. Movement sound & true however needed to put more into it. Remained alert & on his toes in the line up; 2 Bissett’s Kerrykeel Enda, correct in size but not quite the racy & graceful lines of 1. Balanced head, dark eye, neat ears, neck of moderate length, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, good bone & feet. Inclined to lose topline on the move; 3 Hardman’s Drumbilla Diablo Amidst Bonosue. OD (3) 1 Gruettner’s Napoletano von der Emsmuehle, attractive dog who never stopped showing. Balanced head, used his ears to advantage giving keen expression at all times. Fair length of neck, straight front, deep chest, well ribbed back, good spring of rib, moderate length of back, tail on top, moved with purpose & drive. CC; 2 Anderson’s Kerrykeel Eoghan, elegant & racy, long clean head, flat skull, well placed dark eye, neat ears with correct lift, neck of good length, flat shoulders. Still developing in body but overall a typical Irish with harsh coat, good bone & feet. RCC; 3 Canty’s Ir Ch Padfoot Gradamach. VD (1) & GCD (1)A. MPB (3) 1 Kiely’s Rosaline Ruby, refined with narrow head spoilt by rather unsatisfactory skull. Small dark eye, neat ears which when alert used to advantage, fair length of neck, moderate length of back, good set on, moved OK; 2 Bugden’s Applerock Lady Mable, scored in head, well placed & carried ears, dark eye, pleasing expression, fair length of neck, straight front, well ribbed back, good length, body developing nicely, coat of good texture. Not helping her handler on the move but did enough to show soundness; 3 Hardman’s Bonosue The Perfect Storm. PB (3) 1 Rosaline Ruby; 2 A Lady Mable; 3 B The Perfect Storm. JB (2) A. PGB (6) 1 Goss & Lambert’s Kerrykeel Regan, very nice type, in excellent coat & condition, clean head of good length. Perhaps a smaller eye would be to advantage but liked her earset & carriage. Decent neck & shoulders, good depth of chest, well ribbed back, good set on, sound in movement; 2 Wooding’s Sujoncla Dancing Orchid at Woodraith, elegant bitch, nicely proportioned head, well placed & carried ears, neck of good length, flat shoulders, good length of back. Needs more depth of chest to balance the picture. In hard condition, well presented, excellent tailset, covers the ground well on the move; 3 Davis’ Ben’s Heir Cassandra. LB (5) 1 Atwell’s Xanmil Mystical Girl, very feminine, long clean head, small dark eye & neat ears, good length of neck, well laid shoulders, fair depth of chest, good length of back, well set tail, nicely presented. A little more texture to coat would be to advantage. Steady on the move; 2 Ruffles’ Ruffmar Bronzed Ballerina, nice size, balanced head, dark eye, neat ears, fair length of neck, good depth of chest, moderate length of back, tailset good. Not making the most of herself. Nice bone, well rounded feet; 3 Rundle’s Sidewater Amy Gale. OB (3) 1 Gruettner’s Rosalind von der Emshuehle, fulfils the Standard from all angles. Head long, flat skull, foreface well made up, dark eye, intelligent expression, correct ears used to advantage, fair length of neck leading to fine shoulders. Good depth of chest, well ribbed back, strong loin, powerful quarters with tail on top, moved freely holding elegant topline. CC & BOB; 2 Blower’s Wyndam Slightly Foxed of Turith, useful type, long head, dark eye, strong muzzle. A little more lift to ears would give sharper expression. Fair length of neck, good legs & feet, chest of good depth, well sprung ribs, strong loin, slight arch, well set tail, steady on the move. Would like to see more drive in hind action.
