IRISH LKA 09 Judge: Mrs M A Micklethwaite
Irish Terriers PD (5) Nice class. 1 Hardman’s Spanwise Vermillion, good neck & shoulder, nicely covered body, well balanced, ribs well back, best mover in class. BP; 2 Bradley’s Montelle Star Vision, very much the babe but promising. Good length of head, well placed shoulder, very good feet, very happy pup; 3 Seabridge’s Sujoncla Bear Tooth. JD (5) 1 Hemmings’ Courtington Kassel, clean cut head, good ear placement, very good expression & eye, very good quarters which he used; 2 Bradley’s Montelle Viscount Erhard, nicely constructed dog, well set tail, good length of head. Not quite as free moving as 1; 3 Dixon’s Rooikopjie Gochgraig. PGD (5) 1 Hardman’s Drumbilla Diablo amidst Bonosue, good size, moved quite well, typical head, nicely muscled body, very good quarters which he used; 2 Seabridge’s Sujoncla Po Kanoket, bigger dog but handled well, rib well back, good bone & front, good length of head, nice expression; 3 M Viscount Erhard. LD (8,1a) 1 Pratt’s Terrijay Special Brew, well balanced throughout, very good bone, deep chest, lovely hard coat, keen expression, moved best in class; 2 Cooke’s Lionwood Rowanberry, presentation could be improved. Moved OK, good body, excellent front, very good mouth; 3 Dixon’s Rooikopjie Clanraurie. OD (3) 1 Gruettner’s Horatio von der Emsmuehle, this dog was in lovely hard condition, super mover, well up on his feet, lovely head, excellent expression, very good size, excellent harsh jacket. CC & BOB; 2 Anderson’s Ch Kerrykeel Ronan, bigger dog, good deep ribbing, very good length of head & keen expression, moves OK, good feet, harsh jacket. RCC; 3 Seabridge’s Kerrykeel Wounded Knee at Sujoncla. PB (4,1) 1 Longman’s Kilcavan The Courtesan, nice quality pup, full of promise, feminine throughout, well constructed, good head. Shall watch; 2 Dixon’s Rooikopjie The Defender, excellent quarters but not layback of shoulder of 1. Very good head & expression, nice feet, moved OK; 3 Smith’s Holbam Winslow Charm. JB (7,2) 1 Nevill’s Courtington Elena at Rosemonelle, quality youngster, excellent neck & shoulder, well boned deep rib which went well back, moved well on very good feet; 2 Kenyon’s Sinead’s Siofra of Wyndam, slightly bigger bitch, lovely body, good length of head, moved with drive, good jacket; 3 Bradley & Bradbury’s Montelle Leading Lady. PGB (8,2) 1 Wooding’s Woodraith Golden Buttercup, beautiful head & super expression, well balanced body, very good coat, moved tidily, showed nicely; 2 Rhodes’ Ghyllslap Sunshine, well bodied bitch, head not quite as feminine as 1. Very good coat, moved OK; 3 Bamsey’s Holbam Pearly Shannon. LB (10,2) 1 Barker & Averis’ Drumbilla Misty Lady, classy little bitch, very good neck & shoulder, good size, in excellent coat, deep rib, not oversprung, handles well. Not as settled on the move as I’m sure she can be. RCC; 2 Brown’s Sujoncla Ochinee, sound moving around, good body & coat, very good feet, good length of head; 3 Ruffles’ Ruffmar Bronzed Ballerina. OB (5) 1 Anderson’s Ch Kerrykeel Orlaith, biggish bitch but so sound & well constructed, good bone, good deep rib well back not oversprung, very good coat, presented nicely, good length of head. CC; 2 Blower’s Saredon Ruby Red of Turith, nicely balanced bitch, super quarters, deep rib, nice layback of shoulder, good coat; 3 Lovelace’s Ch Brazan Seghill. Breeder Bamsey. |
