I was looking forward to a leisurely afternoon at the ringside at the Irish Terrier Association’s Championship show, unfortunately the judge Mr. Stewart had broken down on his way to the show and could not get there. I was asked to take his place and judge his very good entry. I considered it a great honour to judge a breed show and would like to thank the committee for this opportunity and for their hospitality, also my thanks to the exhibitors for accepting my placings with good spirit.
I thought the bitches were better than the dogs, I was pleased with the size, not many were oversized, dentition was good and I found no cracked pads.
