Irish Terriers

Puppy Dog 2

1. Pratt’s Terrijay Whynot. Up to size sound pup, well presented. Expression enhanced by good use of ears. Moved straight and true.

2. Grant’s Kerrykeel Cormac at Ticknock, slightly younger pup well presented. Thicker in skull with wider set eyes spoiling the expression. Shoulders could be better. Needs to tighten in front.

Junior Dog 2

1. Seabridge’s Sujoncla Kowtolik. 12 month pup with long lean head and excellent use of ears. Sound construction, good harsh coat. Moved and showed well.

2. Redman’s Applerock Lord Stefan, soundly constructed youngster, slightly thicker in skull and not in his best jacket today.

Post Graduate Dog 1

1. Bradley’s Montelle Irish Vision. Up to size quality dog, excellent make and shape. Long lean head, good use of ears to enhance his expression. Lovely reach of neck set into good shoulders. Good coat, well presented. Moved well when settled. He epitomises Irish type and character, sometimes to the detriment of walking a straight line, but full of the joy of being an Irish. CC & BOB

Limit Dog 3 (1 abs)

1. Bamsey’s Holbam Winslow King. Upstanding dog, soundly made, good bend of stifle, head would benefit from being a shade longer but good use of ears which helped. Not in his best jacket today

2. Cooke’s Lionwood Rowanberry SHCM 7 year old dog in excellent condition, sound construction and good overall balance. Showed and moved well but topline spoilt by large cyst.

Open Dog 1

1. Barkers and Malzoni’s Ch/Am Ch Fleet St Fenway Fan smallish compact quality dog with neat head and clean skull, Good ears. Shoulders could be better. Moved and showed well, presentation excellent. Lacking a little in testosterone, and not showing the typical Irish attitude and character. Res CC.

Puppy Bitch 1

1. Blower’s Wyndham’s Slightly Foxed of Turith. Top quality feminine bitch puppy. Lovely head and expression, good use of ears. Sound construction, good bend of stifle and good feet. Good harsh coat, presentation excellent. Moved and showed well. CC & Best Puppy starting what must be a very rosey future.

Junior Bitch 2

1. Bamsey’s Holbam Tierney’s Girl 13month bitch with lovely flowing lines. Soundly made with good bend of stifle. Ears a little erratic at present.

2. Bradley’s Montelle Leading Light. Smart young bitch, nice size, good coat. Ear set could be better. Topline dipping on the move,

Post Graduate Bitch 2

1. Bradley’s Montelle Leading Light.

2. Wooding’s Woodraith Golden Buttercup, soundly made 4year old bitch, good bend of stifle. Ears and feet a little flat.

Limit Bitch 4 (1 abs)

1. Bradley’s Montelle Ring of Gold. Top quality bitch, correct outline, sound construction, good shoulders. Good coat and presentation. Moved and showed well Res CC.

2. Stanley & Nichol’s Shallcome’s Cassandra. Smart well presented quality bitch, neat head, good bend of stifle. Moved with drive.

3. Ruffle’s Ruffmar Bronzed Ballerina

Best Breeder in Breed – Bradley’s Montelles.

AVNSC Terrier

Open Dog 2

1. Schoneberg’s Nujax Rising Sun at Saredon. Top quality Lakeland dog of sound construction and balance. Good head ears and expression, arching neck onto good shoulders, short back, good spring of rib with good tail set. Presentation excellent. Moved and showed well. Best AVNSC Terrier.

Puppy Bitch 1

1. Tobijansi’s Zippor Break a Leg. Quality Sealyham bitch pup, good head and shoulders, well developed quarters. Moved with drive and assurance belying her lack of years. Res Best AVNSC Bitch & Best Puppy.

Post Graduate Bitch 1

1. Friedlander’s Fondant Fancy 18month smart bitch with clean head, good ears and expression. Good harsh coat. Moved and showed well but topline inconsistent on move.

Open Bitch 3 (2 abs)

1. Longmate’s Ch Polrose Penny Black for Pendalin. Top quality Sealyham, lovely head ears and expression. Sound construction, good front, good spring of rib and powerful hindquarters. Moved with drive and reach. Best AVNSC Bitch.
