A lovely breed to judge with quality through all the classes. Presentation and coats were a credit to their owners.
Pleased to see the BOB and Best Veteran do well in the groups.

1st: 2080 CONNELL, Mr & Mrs N & S : Sonorra Enter The Dragon – A lovely puppy to start the day, very showy and on his toes. Good clean head of good shape and proportions, ears on top, flowing neck into well placed shoulders, topline of good length into well set on tail, straight front and good rear angulation, he moved true and freely. Best puppy.

1st: 2075 CHILVERS, Mrs C : Apispolb Fleet Street (a.i.) - Gives a well balanced outline, lovely shaped head of good length, well placed small ears, small well shaped eye, which altogether gives a keen expression, head held high on good neck and shoulders, lovely straight front, he moved easily effortlessly around the ring.

1st: 2086 LEE, Miss V : Ivyblue Red Moonlight – He was a little unsettled in the ring, of good overall type, strong head of good length, was flying his ears, excellent teeth and dentition, good body shape and racy outline, was a tough unsettled in front movement, super in rear giving good drive.

1st: 2083 HOWARTH, Mrs A & D & HOWARTH, Mr D : Niddrua Lightning Bolt - A quality upstanding mature male of good type and size, scores in head, eye and ears all giving a true expression for the breed, good length of neck flowing into well angulated shoulders, level and firm topline with tail well set on, has good front and rear assembly which gave him drive and reach on the move.

1st: 2078 CONNELL, Mr & Mrs N & S : Ch Sonorra The Godfather – A real classy confident male, racey throughout, liked his head shape and typical expression, long and narrow with strong jaw, has a good length of neck and well sloped shoulders, firm topline, deep chest and elbows tucked in, straight in front with complementing powerful hind quarters, moved freely with head held high and covering the ground well. CC & BOB also went really well in the strong Terrier Group to win TG 4
2nd: 2081 COOKE, Mrs A : Montelle Flash Light To Lionwood JW – This boy was clicking at the Godfathers heels, another eye catching dog presented in excellent coat and condition, has a good length of head with flat skull, dark almond eye, giving that Irish expression, good neck and shoulders, strong back and excellent tail set, good depth of chest and muscular throughout, was pushing 1 very hard in this class. Class 849 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2089 OLIVER, Mrs K J & OLIVER, Mr A R : Ch Kerrykeel Aobheann - Very smart and presented in excellent coat and condition and not looking a veteran at all, has a lovely feminine head with well placed ears, dark eye and good strength of jaw, her neck flows into her shoulders, firm topline and good tail set, has a good depth and spring of rib, moved with good reach and drive. Best Veteran

1st: 2076 CHILVERS, Mrs C : Apispolb Standing Stones (a.i.) - A sound bitch of good type with a racy outline, has good head planes, tending to drop her ears a touch, but they looked good when she used them, has a good and firm topline with excellent depth of chest and good spring of rib, moved well with purpose.
2nd: 2084 HOWARTH, Mrs A & D & HOWARTH, Mr D : Niddrua The Temptress – A promising young bitch with a lovely outline, has a good length of head and small dark eye, not using her ears today, lovely straight front good
depth of chest, has everything in the right place, just needs to settle in movement.
Class 853 LB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2073 CHILVERS, Mrs C : Kenynten Chasing Rainbows At Apispolb - Difficult to choose between these two as they both had slightly differing merits, 5 year bitch, has a good outline, stronger but feminine head, good eye and strong jaw, long muscular neck, strong and level topline, correct tailset, has a deep chest and straight front, moderate rear angulation, moved more positive around the ring.
2nd: 2087 LEE, Miss V : Ivyblue Red Sunlight - Pushing 1 very hard, lighter in build, she has a slightly more racey outline, good length of head, and using her ears well, nicely balanced in profile, just needs to tighten in front.
Class 854 OB (5 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2079 CONNELL, Mr & Mrs N & S : Sonorra Bewitched – A lovely bitch quite eye catching and easy to go over, presented in tip top condition, with a harsh coat and lovely colour very even throughout, very good for size and proportions, has a feminine yet brick shaped head, held high, neck flowing into well laid shoulders, strong back showing a slight rise over the loin, very good tailset, straight in front and enough turn of stifle, lovely free flowing action when moving around the ring. CC
2nd: 2071 ATKIN, Mr R. J. & ATKIN, Mrs J. : Holbam Celtic Rose (a.i.) JW – She came into the ring with that ‘Look at Me’ expression, head held high and strutting her stuff, of excellent breed type, lovely head shape of good length and proportion, ears could have been used a touch more, good neck and shoulders, firm topline with tail set on well, racey throughout, she moved free and easy to win the res CC. I was told afterwards that this would make her up.
