IRISH CRUFTS 20 Irish Terrier BEST OF BREED CH SIDEWATER SEA FURY Dog Owner: F & J & J RUNDLE & WILLIAMS My thanks to all exhibitors for entering and graceful acceptance of my placings. To my stewards, Gary and Caroline for smooth management. Collectively, without doubt some very good points in the breed I found on the day, especially the lovely dark eyes giving the correct expression, good mouths and feet. Type and soundness in the younger exhibits coming through augers well for the breed. 1 Fooke’s Montelle I’m Dylan. This pup was confident on the move both ways, with good coat, nice head and expression, racy outline, does not need to grow on. Best Puppy Dog. 1 Hardman’s Bonsue It’s An Illusion. Liked his type, lovely long and lean head and a good expression. Correct size, good coat and moved well both ways, holding his topline. 2 O’Meara’s Megacant What’s Another Year. Very confident, moved and showed very well both ways. Nice size, good expression, though head not as good as the winner. 3 Fooke’s Montelle I’m Dylan. Did not settle to move as he did in the previous class and paid the penalty. 1 Nevill’s Norakim an Storr at Rosemonelle. I liked his lovely head and expression, good coat, correct size, moved and showed well both ways. 2 Inker and Isaac’s Thatcher Michelin. Good head and expression, double coat. Moved and showed well both ways, would prefer less size. 3 Atwell’s Kerrykeel Conchobhar at Xanwil. Liked his liong lean head and expression, good coat, moved ok, would prefer less size. LD (5,1) 1 Bambsey’s Celtic Wizard JW. I liked his type, conformation and bone. Correct size with a good head and expression. Double coat, good angulation and moved and showed very well coming and going. Res CC. 2 Atkins’ Gengis Khan, good head and expression. Liked his size, good coat and angulation, moved ok. 3 Simon’s Saredon Red Berry. Same remarks as the above, again would prefer less size. 1 Rundle and Williams’ Ch Sidewater Sea Fury. Very good conformation, type with substance, correct size, double coat with dense furnishings. Good head and expression, very good extension with drive on the move and showed well. CC and BOB. 2 Averis and Barker’s Ch Saredon Citizen Smith. Long lean head with a good expression. Good bone and substance, showed well standing, not happy and hesitant on the move. Would prefer less size. 3 O’Meara’s Ir Ch Megacant Brian Boru. I liked his size, makes the most of himself, moved and showed well. Would prefer better head and coat. 1 Nevill’s Rosemonelle Isabella. Lovely type, good head and expression. Good coat and texture, showed and moved well both ways and in great condition at 9 years of age. 2 Price’s Sujoncla Dancing orchid at Woodraith. I liked her head and expression, good coat, showed and moved well both ways, at again 9 years of age. 3 Nolcini’s Holgam Celtic Kate. Good head and expression, showed and moved ok. 1 Thomas’ Montelle Light the Way at Sunnystone. Filled my eye as soon as she entered the ring. Has all the essentials, type, head and expression, size with movement both ways. Was a contender for the final challenge but at 9 months of age was overawed by the occasion, her day will come. BPIB. 2 Hobson’s Erredwiltsir Shine A Light. Another nice pup with good head and expression good type with good conformation and angulation, showed ok. 3 Lee’s Ivy Blue Crinkles. Very good head length, ears a little too high to give correct expression. Good coat and texture, moved and showed ok. 1 Canty’s Megacant Red Dancer. Lovely head and expression, correct size with a good reach of neck. Moved confidently holding her topline both ways, needs more time to develop. Res CC. 2 Wortley’s Jarabica Grace O’Malley. Balanced head with a good expression, good coat and angulation. Not the reach of neck or showmanship of the winner. 3 price’s Magairlin This Girl Can. Not making the most of herself on the day, very good coat and head, nice outline moved ok. 1 Ruffles and Williamson’s Holbam Celtic Erin. Correct size, very good head and expression. Correct coat, good angulation and moved well both ways. 2 Redman’s Holbam Celtic Little Minx. Another good type to go over in all departments, not as developed as the winner. 3 McIver’s Pinleygreen Golden Rocket. I liked her very much, has all the essentials to make the grade, Moved and showed very well, unfortunately lacked show condition on the day. 1 Ruffle’s Holbam Celtic Whisper at Ruffmar. Good head and expression, nice type and size, lovely coat and good colour, moved well both ways. 2 Wheatley’s Jarabica Tiger Lily. Another good type, combined with a good coat, nice size and outline, not using her ears in the line up, moved ok. 3 Atwell’s Xanwil Sorceress. I liked her type and conformation, good angulation, lovely head spoiled by a high ear carriage. Moved ok. 2 Platen and Sonnefeld’s Int Ger VDH/KFT Multi Ch Crown of magic Heroes Van der Emshuehle. Lovely head and expression, nice size and type, moved and showed very well, would prefer better coat. 3 Yalanska’s Kells Shooting Star. Good head and expression, reacy outline, moved ok. 1 Lee’s Sujoncla Goyathlay. Racy outline, good size and made the most of herself in the class. Moved and showed well. 2 Nolcini’s Holbam Celtic Kate. Same remarks as Vet. 3 Blair’s Montcoffer Truly love. Balanced head, good coat and colour. Carrying too much weight spoiled her outline. |
