Overall observations: The wide range of quality and type proved difficult to judge consistently. Some exhibits lacked condition.
I found more overly round and prominent eyes than when I last judged and several had weak and slack pasterns. With the exception of one or two slightly crowded mouths, all were good. No problems with feet.

1st 16896 MR J D & MRS J E NEVILL - MONTELLE LORD MONTAGUE Retaining his Irish spirit and moving well. Pleasing head & expression, nice overall balance, in good coat presented well.
2nd 16880 MRS A J COOKE - LIONWOOD ROWANBERRY SHCM Not as sprightly as winner, heavier type overall.

1st 16866 MISS A BRADLEY - MONTELLE VISION IN RED Nicely proportioned, liked his head, ears and expression, good front, topline and tailset. Good coat and presentation. Moved OK in class but became erratic in CC Challenge.
2nd 16857 MR K A ANDERSON - KERRYKEEL EOGHAN Finer, racier type in good coat and condition & moving well. Close decision, similar comments above apply, but preferred the head of 1.

Nice type, tighter trimming and more ring training would give advantage.

Very nice neck and shoulder placement, firm topline, good tailset and quarters, tight feet. In lovely coat, condition and well presented. Moved well.RCC.
2nd 16863 MR M E & MRS S BISSETT - KERRYKEEL ENDA Nice dog, good size and well proportioned. Long neck and good shoulder placement. Very nice ears, fine head looking a touch snipey, could be enhanced with more hair under eyes. Good quarters, tight feet. Moved and presented well.
3rd 16872 MRS C M BAMSEY - HOLBAM WINSLOW KING Bigger but quite racy. Very nice head, shoulder and topline.

1st 16861 MR A & MR V BARKER & MALZONI - CH/AM CH FLEET ST FENWAY FAN Needs no introduction, consistent winner in short show UK career and has brought Irish into the spotlight for the first time in many years. Great showman, excels in head, expression and movement, presented and handled very well. Great to see him take 3rd in the Group.
2nd 16876 MR J & MR J CANTY & HARTY - IR CH PADFOOT GRADAMACH Different type to winner, taller and more racy. Has excellent neck and shoulder, good head and ears, would prefer a smaller eye. Wouldn't settle on the move. Great coat and colour, well presented.

3rd 16909 MR G J & MRS A WOODING - SUJONCLA DANCING ORCHID AT WOODRAITH Liked her, lovely head and ears, great length of neck into excellent shoulder, good legs and feet. Just needs time, maturity should serve her well.

2nd 16865 MRS S BOYLE - MONTELLE MOYA Higher on the leg, decent head & expression, ears a touch low but uses them well. Good front, good coat and condition, moved & showed well.
3rd 16894 MR J D & MRS J E NEVILL - COURTINGTON ELENA AT ROSEMONELLE Again a nice type, good head but wouldn't use ears until after placing. Moved OK but not putting all in.

2nd 16900 MR F R & MRS J P RUNDLE - CH ALLATSEA GIFT OF GOLD AT MARSHCOURT Nice type, lovely head and ears, typical expression, moved and showed well and might have fared better but not in best bib and tucker today.
