IRISH BLACKPOOL 10 Judge: Mr Martin P Phillips IRISH JUDGE BLACKPOOL 10 Irish Terriers JD (1) 1 Hardman’s Spanwise Vermillion, male in super coat, nice head planes, good tight lip, good bone for size, well bodied, strong quarters, went well when settled. OD (3) 1 Part’s Terrijay Special Brew, very upstanding male, well off the bone, immaculacy put down, very good neck, front assembly, good deep chest & very muscular, good length of body, strong muscular loin, well sprung rib, strong quarters, very powerful thighs with short hocks, nice strong round feet, well arched & well padded, excels in movement. Would like him to use his ears more. BD; 2 Hardman’s Drumbilla Diablo amidst Bonosue, nice young male of pleasing size & shape, liked his head & over planes, neat ears, liked his front assembly & body. Needs more strength behind to give him more positive movement. Well handled & in good coat. RBD; 3 Cooke’s Lionwood Rowanberry. JB (0). OB (3) 1 Barker & Averis’ Drumbilla Misty Lady, lovely Irish type, very feminine head with correct keen eye, good strength of muzzle, uses her ears, correct neck & front, well bodied, good strong quarters, in excellent coat & presentation. BOB & shortlisted in a strong group; 2 Hardman’s Bonosue Snow Storm, lovely type, very sound, pleasing shape & balance, went well, in top condition. RBB; 3 Grant’s Ticknock Tamarind Breeze.
