IRISH BATH 24 Judge: Mrs F Chapman-King PD (3,1) 1 Montelle Flash Light TAF (Cooke) Typical & quality youngster racy in outlook with plenty of breed type & ‘Irish’ character. Lovely, lean masculine head, good eye & expression. Uses his ears well. Pleasing forehand, good neck & shoulder, well off for bone, good body & balanced racy outline, strong quarters. Firm level topline, held on the move. In good dense coat & sound all ways. CC 2 Ivyblue Red Moonlight (Lee) Not as mature as 1., but lots to like. Has plenty of Irish character & devilment. Pleasing eye & expression, good bone & feet, strong quarters & good texture coat. At 7 months, has plenty of time. JD (1) 1 Bilarny Hotcross Bun (Thomas & Print) Good head, would prefer a touch more ‘Character’ & expression in eye. Good ears, good topline, correct length & good body properties. Needs more angulation to finish the picture. Moved better going than coming. PGD (2) 1 Kerrykeel Damhnaic (Anderson) Typical & of pleasing overall make & shape. Good head, dark eye & expression. Good reach of neck & clean run in to sloping shoulders, correct topline & outline, well made quarters. Enough behind & well set & carried tail. Moved better coming than going. Up to size. RCC 2 Brucephela Quito Berry (Simons) Pleasing head & eye, good in body, quarters & tailset & outline. In good coat. A touch upright in front & did not settle on the move. LD (3,1) 1 Holbam Midsummer Knight at Ruffmar (ai) JW (Ruffles) Racier in outline of the 2 here. Good head, Dark eye & expression & using his ears well. Straight front, pleasing neck & run in, strong body, good set on & well made quarters. Plenty of character & shown in rich dense coat. Moved well when settled to the job. 2 Rufous Gubbeen of Cleeve (Oliver) Close up to 1. Good head proportions, preferred ear & eye & neck of 1. Well off for bone, straight front, good feet, good layback & correct length back & good topline. Well set tail & strong quarters. In very good coat. More schooled than 1 & moved out well. OD (2,1) 1 Magairlin Silver Spur (Price) Strongly made dog all through, with a fair neck & front, correct length of back & body proportions, well made quarters & well set tail. Would prefer more length to balance head, & ears could be better. In fair coat, & moved out fairly well. Special Beginners (2) 1 Brucephela Quito Berry (Simons) 2 Pinleygreen Green Joy (Hardman) Typical feminine head with good eye & expression, a touch heavy in ear. Firm topline, well set tail & in good coat. Needs more angulation to finish the picture. Moved out fairly well. Has plenty of time. Vet (2) 1 Balirolyat Mollys A Diva (Karau) Overall sound & typical feminine bitch with a good eye & expression. Ears could be better. Good neck, fair forehand, good body & quarters. In good coat & showed well. 2 Ch Sidewater Sea Fury (Rundle & Rundle & Williams) Overall typical & masculine all through, carrying a touch too much body & condition today to his disadvantage. Straight front, clean shoulders, holding his topline, well ribbed. In fair coat & order. Would prefer more quality in head. Moved out fairly well. PB (1) 1 Ivyblue Red Sunlight (Lee) Lovely type & character with a pleasing head & eye. Good front, legs & feet, racy outline, good firm topline & length, pleasing quarters. Moved well. JB (2) 1 Pinleygreen Irish Star for Montelle TAF (Gummow) Smart bitch who catches the eye with plenty of breed type & character. Very good head, eye & expression & uses her ears to advantage. Clean neck & run in, good bone & feet. Racy outline & good coat & order. Sound on the move. Close up in the challenge. Res CC 2 Pinleygreen Green Joy (Hardman) PGB (5) 1 Holbam Midsummer Sprite (ai) (Bradshaw) Lovely type & character, typical head & expression, good ears. Good front & bone, good ribbing & quarters. Shown in good coat & order. Moved & showed well 2 Ghyllslap Limerick (Fitter) Tidy bitch, good for size & balance, Good neck bone & feet. Shown in good coat & order & sound on the move. LB (3) 1Holbam Celtic Rose (ai) JW (Atkin) Feminine & typical bitch of good size, shown in excellent coat & order. Balanced head, good eyes & expression, ears could be neater. Reachy neck & clean run in to sloping shoulder, well ribbed, good topline & set on, racy outline, excellent quarters. Sound & showy. Promising. 2 Dotsfirth Pearl’s A Singer (Lovelace) Plleasing head & eye, ears could be better, good shoulders, well made body of correct length & outline, strong rear. In good coat & sound on the move. OB (7,1) 1 Tuscan Red Varvara (Baumgartner) Rich coloured feminine bitch full of breed type and of good size. Good feminine head, eyes & expression. Excellent & elegant neck, clean run in & racy in outline. Well angulated shoulders, good bone & feet, well made body & ribbing, strong loin, well made quarters & tail bang on. In excellent coat & order, sound & stylish on the move. Well handled to advantage. CC & BOB 2 Ch Norakim Tango of Newguild (Bentley) Typical & quality bitch with good head, eye & expression, good ears used well. Good bone & feet, good forehand, ribbing & ex. quarters. Sound on the move & in excellent coat. Preferred neck & topline of 1. Mrs F Chapman-King
