FOX WIRE JUDGE WINDSOR 11

Wire Fox Terriers
The depth of quality in the dogs was disappointing but bitches had quality bitches winning the classes. It was good to see some newcomers showing their dogs & although there was a need for help with trimming & ring training I hope they will persevere.

JD

1 Brocolitia Strike, 14 month, good topline, tailset & quarters, long quality head, good eye & ear, excellent use of the hocks. Just needs to finish in front & coat texture but a good prospect for the future. RCC.

PGD

1 Proveits Johnny Be Good, tall dog who needs a little more depth of body to look balanced. Masculine head without coarseness, used his hocks well.

LD

1 Wyregait Mister Right, good size & proportions, very short good tailset. Needs a little more angulation in front for flow of neck into shoulder.

OD

1 Travella Firecracker, tall dog, in excellent form, excellent coat texture, good chest, used his quarters well. I would prefer a little less of him all round but looked the part & took CC;

2 Willowyre Wild About Me, lovely headed dog, full measure for me. Went well, good head. Would prefer a better tailset. Good coat texture;

3 Brocolitia Devious with Cwmgarws.

PB

1 Brocolitia Total Design, 7 months, good size, feminine quality, excellent head, short back, tail on top & plenty behind the tail. A lot of promise;

2 Cwgarws Warrior Princess, 10 months raw puppy on her first outing & a little overawed with her newcomer owner. Good body shape & what coat she has is of good texture. Needs some ring training but worth perseverance.

JB

1 Willowyre Wish Upon A Star, 13 months, full sized bitch, very well put together & with excellent outline. Moved well at both ends, scored in chest & tail carriage;

2 Blackdale Request of Jomoaka, 13 months, lovely size, excellent short back, very good head & ears. Needs to drop in body now. Went well, full of spirit.

PGB

1 Brocolitia Perfect Fit, easy winner of this class. Lovely quality all through & in excellent coat, beautiful head & eye, moved well. Would prefer stronger feet;

2 Wyregait Reach For The Stars, lovely type but needing more coat & a little more confidence. Very short backed. Head needs more finishing & can settle in ears;

3 Saredon Billie Jo.

LB

1 Travella Selection Box, quality bitch, lovely shape, short back, excellent ribs, coat texture & tailset. A touch overangulated in rear & moves wide behind. Good head. Ear placement could be better;

2 Beekay Bellissima, raw teenager needing to fill out. Tail carriage too tight & needs to firm up in rear.

OB

Best class of the day with 3 top class bitches.

1 Alkinra Big Tease, lovely quality all through & went very well, excellent head & eye, full of quality, ultra sound, lovely flow of neck into shoulders, scored in rear action. CC & BOB;

2 Ginagee Von Foliny Home, lovely bitch, ultra short, very good tailset. Just a little exaggerated in rear angulation which shows on the move. In great form. 1 just a little more accurate on the move. RCC;

3 Ch Blackdale Gaelic Dream of Russmews.
