FOX WIRE JUDGE WELSH KC 18

A disappointing entry numerically but did not lack for quality at the top with the main winners well worthy of their positions.

LD (2)

1. Browne-Cole's Travella Laketrix Set to Strike, very pleasing in head, neck and topline. Needs to steady up a bit on the lead when moving. But he went particularly well behind with plenty of drive. Good front when you could see it, and good in tail. Correct depth of brisket, good firm topline and well muscled behind. Went on to win RDCC.

2. Dipple's Marvidyne Follow the Trend, OK in ears and eye. Also good in neck and topline. Quite tall and not moving quite so well behind and could be tidier in front movement.

OD (3,1)

1 Malzoni's Am Ch Hampton Courts Monte Cristo really good in head with enough length in both skull and foreface with refined look. Good eye and correct neck, good shoulders and excellent in topline with good short back. His movement was very good with precise gait in front and behind and with enough drive. Presented and showed well. Went on to win DCC and BOB.

2. Malzoni's Blackdale Dignitary, strongly made dog. Not quite the head of 1. Good ears and excellent in topline. Moved out well behind with plenty of bend of stifle. Good tail well carried.

VB (1)

1. Moakes Blackdale Request of Jomoaka, correct size. OK in head and with an excellent eye. Good ears well carried. Correct neck. Could use topline better at times. Good tailset. Good bone. Moved out well behind and OK in front. Good tight feet and had enough bend of stifle. Best Veteran.

LB (3)

1. Bradley's Aman Beau, correct for size and good in neck and short back, Correct tailset. Moved better behind than in front and was well muscled behind. Scored in head and skull over 2.

2. Dipple's Marvidyne Midnight Moon, better in front than 1 but not quite the head properties. She did have a good neck, topline and tailset. Could move more positively behind but was good in front.

3. Ford & Burton's Selvina Lady Luck
OB (5,1)

1. Westwood & Wiggins Ch Nethertonion Chandalier, very good in head and ok in neck and topline. Good tailset. Moved somewhat better in front than 2. Good coat texture though not a lot of it on her body. Well muscled behind with good thighs and second thighs. Correct tight feet. Good typey outline. Went on to win BCC

2. Malzoni & Bradley's Aman Crimson Empress, another with very pleasing head and expression,. OK in tail with plenty of coat there to complete the picture. OK in hindquarters but not quite so tidy in front as 1. RBCC,

3. Calleja & Schembri's Mlt Ivram Spot On
