FOX WIRE WELSH KC 11 Judge: Mr T H Johnston FOX WIRE JUDGE WKC 11 Wire Fox Terriers 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Strike, young dog with a balanced head, dark eye & well placed ears, clean neck, straight legs in forequarters, good bone, good depth of body, level topline, good loin & shelf, dense coat, good overall movement. PGD (1) 1 Campen & Moakes’ Aman Snow Knight, larger dog but balanced, proportioned head, dark eye, would prefer a shade more length of neck, OK bone, good depth of body, level topline, good loin, compact feet, needs to settle for movement but when he did was OK. LD (2) 1 Averis & de Munter-Uiterwijk’s Hannibal van Foliny Home, well balanced with pleasing overall proportions, good head & expression, nice forehand, well bodied, good rib & lion, good stifle & hock, moved well with style. CC; 2 Lilley’s Wyregait Mister Right, balanced head & dark eye but I just preferred the head of 1, clean neck, straight legs in forequarters with good bone, OK depth of brisket, short level topline, good loin but not as well muscled in hindquarters as 1, moved well. OD (3) 1 Schoneberg’s Hanko vd Schonenbergen, very pleasing & typical, good head, nice eye & well used ears, pleasing forehand, body developed well, good tailset & carriage, sound rear, moved easily. RCC; 2 Moakes’ Blackdale Invader, well proportioned head with good skull shape & muzzle , fair length of neck, good depth of chest but would prefer a shade less width, pleasing topline, good loin & rump, compact feet. Not as positive in movement as1. MPB (2) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Untouched, most promising puppy, well made with excellent shape, good skull & foreface, dark eye, ears well placed when settled, clean neck of fair length, good bone, topline & tailset, well sprung body, moved true. BP; 2 Jefford’s Wizzizz Jelly Bean, balanced head but not as mature in shape as 1, well placed ears, pleasing neck shape, OK bone & width in forequarters, at this stage tends to be up in the rearquarters but hopefully this will settle as she matures, compact feet, needs to settle in movement. PB (2) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Total Design, good puppy with balanced head & dark eye, ears need to settle, fair neck, straight forelegs, good depth of brisket, topline, loin & rearquarters, neat feet, when settled moved OK; 2 Gething’s Whittingford Waterfall of Raynwyre, larger bitch with balanced head, dark eye, fair length of neck, straight legs in forequarters, OK depth of body, adequate rearquarters, compact feet, needs to settle in movement, coat not at its best. JB (2) 1 Moakes’ Blackdale Request of Jomoaka, nicely balanced head with dark eye & well placed ears, moderate reach of neck, good straight bone in forequarters, pleasing depth of body, good topline & loin, adequate rearquarters, compact feet, active mover. PGB (2) 1 Lilley’s Wyregait Reach For The Stars, head in balance with body, dark eye , ears need to settle, clean neck, good depth of chest, straight legs in forequarters down to neat feet, level topline, good loin, adequate rearquarters, all round movement good, longer coat, preferred the overall shape of 1 compared to 2; 2 Ford & Burton’s Saredon Billie Jo, balanced head, dark eye, moderate neck, straight forelegs of adequate bone, longer body than 1, neat feet, parallel movement. LB (2) 1 Schoneberg’s Hollyday vd Schonenbergen, well constructed overall, good head, dark eye, well placed ears, pleasing in forehand & feet, bodied up well, good strength of loin, nice rear, well set & carried tail, good coat & texture, good straight & parallel movement with plenty of drive. CC & BOB; 2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Perfect, fit bitch full of quality & type, balanced head, dark eye, moderate reach of neck, good forequarters, short & level body, not as muscled in rearquarters as 1, compact feet, not as positive in movement as 1. OB (5) 1 Schonberg’s Rainbow vd Schonenbergen, what a super elegant girl this is, I loved her to go over & she pleased in many departments, lovely head & eye, good proportions & made right in front & rear, excellent body, compact feet, good coat & condition, acts up at times but when settled moved well. RCC; 2 Wurtzburg’s Ch Blackdale Gaelic Dream of Russnews, excellent bitch with many pleasing breed points, feminine head, dark eye, neat well placed ears, moderate reach of neck, good width of body, straight legs in forequarters, good depth of brisket, short level back, pleasing topline, moderate turn of stifle, nice shelf, moved well; 3 Schembri’s Travella Skys The Limit.
