FOX WIRE SKC MAY 11 Judge(s) MRS W BOWER DCC HANKO V D SCHONEN BERGEN [ATC AL00366DEU] ( MR F W SCHONEBERG) Wire Fox Terriers Very pleased with my winners but generally disappointed in the quality of the lower classes. Bites were good. PD (2) 1 Robinson’s Brocolitia Start Right at Belgica, good textured coat, reasonable expression. Ears a little erratic. Moved OK. Needs more ring training & sharper presentation would help overall picture. BP; 2 Hilton’s Granddach Panmure Prince, sadly lacking in ring training making it difficult to assess qualities. In reasonable coat & nicely marked. JD (0). PGD (2) 1 Grant’s Travella Shaped Edge of Granddach, nicely balanced & in excellent coat, reasonable head & expression, good length of neck, strong level back with tail well set on. Inclined to stand a little wide in front & would like to see him more animated. Moved OK; 2 Freeman’s Craigmancie Celtic Warrior At Wyaye, bigger type than 1, reasonable coat & presentation. Movement let him down. LD (2) 1 Averis & de Munter–Uiterwijk’s Hannibal Van Foliny Home, lovely balanced dog, correct head, well placed ears, small dark eye, good length of neck, level back with tail well set on, excellent presentation, moved well; 2 Coutts’ Brocolitia Talk O The North, nicely marked & shown in good coat. Would prefer better ear placement & would like more animation. OD (3) 1 Schonenberg’s Hanko v d Schonen Bergen, lovely head & expression, straight front, well laid back shoulders, short coupled with level topline, tail on top, strong well angulated hindquarters, moved well, displayed temperament you look for in this breed, on his toes throughout, in good coat & beautifully presented. CC; 2 Pearce’s Alkinra Gotta Go, nice dog, slightly longer in back than 1 but with all the characteristics. Beautiful reach of neck, well laid back shoulders, strong level back, good tailset with plenty behind the tail, well presented, moved true both ends. RCC; 3 Coutts’ Laurel Boy. PB (0). JB (1) 1 Clark & Browbank’s Whiptail Sea Of Stars, well balanced, picture marked & of nice size, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, feminine head, correct coat, moved & showed OK. PGB (3) 1 Ross & Sharkey’s Ratheden Silver Sunset, fair reach of neck, level topline, good set on & coat texture. Inclined to stand wide in front & ears were very unsettled; 2 Robinson’s Ghyllmoire Copyright at Belgica, not as balanced as 1. Good coat texture but would like to see better presentation. Moved OK. LB (2) 1 Westwood’s Nethertonian Diamond Jewel, elegant bitch of balanced proportions, correct head, keen expression, well placed ears, level topline with tail well set on, well presented, moved OK. OB (5) 1 de Munter-Uiterwijk’s Ginagee Van Foliny Home, compact feminine bitch of correct proportions, lovely head, keen expression, well placed ears, small compact feet, straight front, level topline with tail well set on, excels in hindquarters, moved well, very well presented, in good order, CC & BOB; 2 Schoneberg’s Hollyday v d Schonen Bergen, feminine balanced bitch in good order, pleasing head & expression, correct front, tail on top with plenty behind, well presented, moved well in challenge to win the RCC.
