FOX WIRE LEEDS 17 Judge: Mr Martin Sanders BEST OF BREED : 4681 WESTWOOD, Mrs V & WIGGINS Mrs S Nethertonion Chandalier FOX WIRE JUDGE LEEDS 17 Thank you for this entry of 19 a marked increase on previous entries. I do appreciate the effort that goes into preparing these exhibits to compete; what I don't understand is why go to all that effort to travel to a show then leave your charge on the bench in its box? PD (1) 1 Murphy, Blackdale Setanta. A well grown individual of some merit as his breeding would suggest. Pleasing in head which has good length with a dark eye and keen expression. Ears are well set, plenty in neck with a short back and good set on. His bone has good quality with neat feet. Obviously he is very raw at this stage and needs to come together on the move. BPIB. PGD (1) 1 Dipple, Marvidyne Follow the Trend. Plenty to admire on this one. Correct in head which has good length. Plenty of strength in jaw with a good eye and expression. Would however prefer a higher set ear to complete the picture. Good in neck and forequarters. Short back with a level top line which leads to a good set on with plenty in shelf. Bone is good with correct feet. Moved out soundly and was well put down. LD (3) 1 Nixon, Willowyre Wings of Steel. Obvious quality on this one. Correct in head which has good length with plenty in jaw. Keen in eye with neat well placed ears. Neck and front assembly are correct. Short in back with plenty in rib. Good set on and he stands on quality bone with neat feet. Just felt I would not want him any bigger but was presented in A1 order. Going away he gave the impression that a firmer hock would be to his advantage but gave off a true outline on the go around. 2 Arnold, The Big Bopper of Wragley. Fair all through for breed type. Head, eye and expression correct. Plenty in neck with good ribs. Level in top line with quality in bone with good feet. Jacket was presented in correct harsh texture. Moved out soundly on the out and back just preferred the overall proportions of the winner. OD (3) Two very good exhibits both with so much to admire! 1 Browne-Cole, Travella The Super Trooper. Yet another top draw exhibit that has been produced from this stable. Exciting to go over. Super in head qualities which has excellent length with strength in jaw. Correct in eye which gives off a keen expression. Flat skull finished off with neat well placed ears. Plenty in neck with a correct front assembly. Ultra short in back with the best set on of the day with plenty in rear. His bone is of good quality with excellent feet. In profile he gives off such a pleasing outline on the move. Today he was very coltish but did enough to win this class. Coat texture was probably the best of the day. Pleased to award him the CC his third I was told. So congratulation to all concerned. 2 Barker, Averis Adshead, Ivronhill Cider Cup. No denying the quality on this one. Pleasing on the eye. On the stack did feel however he is well up to size. Nevertheless he possesses a good head which has correct length with strength in foreface. Dark in eye which gives off a keen expression topped off with neat well placed ears. Plenty in neck with a good front assembly. Firm in top line with a good set on. He has quality in bone with neat feet. Moved out soundly on the out and back holding a true profile on the go around. Presented in harsh jacket. I'm told has been recently crowned. No surprise there however RCC today. No disgrace! JB (1) 1 Murray, Eskwyre Extreme. Feminine head proportions with a keen eye and expression. Plenty in neck with level back and good set on. Bone is correct with neat feet. Felt she is up to size and her markings can deceive. Tended to play her handler up on the move but was well presented. PGB (3) 1 Dipple, Marvidynne Midnight Moon. Smaller in mould this one all round, Fair in head with a flat skull. Correct in eye and expression. OK in neck with a short back. She stands on good bone with correct feet. Whilst she moved out with accurate footfalls I felt she lacked a little enthusiasm. Coat was well presented. LB (2) 1 Callejay Shembi Mlt Ivram Spot On. Only 11 months old! Has plenty to admire all through. Ultra-feminine head which has good length, dark in eye which gives of a pleasing expression finished off with neat well placed ears. Reachy in neck with a level top line and good set on. Bone and feet are good. Whilst she is obviously raw at this stage and coat needs to come I felt on the day she matched up to the cc winner for overall breed type. RCC. 2 Robinson Willowyle Whyte Lace from Belgica. Obviously more mature all through but not the overall scope of the winner but did move out soundly and was well presented. OB (4) 1 Westwood & Wiggins, Nethertonion Chandalier. All quality exhibit with so much to admire. Long lean feminine head with eye ok. Neat well placed ears on flat skull. Plenty In neck with a good front assembly. Ultra-short in back with plenty in rib with a good set on. Bone and feet are quality. Her quarters are well developed with strong parallel hocks. On the move she displayed true accurate foot falls on the out and back and held a pleasing outline on the go around. Coat presentation was excellent. She was handled sympathetically to gain maximum output. All in all giving off a flawless performance. Pleased to award her the CC and BoB. I'm sure in the near future she will wear her crown and she did not let the breed down in today's group! 2 Averis Barker, Irvonhill Dubonnet. Fair all through for breed type. Adequate in head with a correct eye and expression. Fair in neck with an ok front assembly. Plenty in rib with a short back with correct set on. She is sound on the out and back and was well presented. Just preferred the better overall scope all round on the winner. 3 Bambridge, Nethertonion Street Chariot of Beckstone.
