FOX WIRE LEEDS 11 Judge: Mrs Elaine Baldwin FOX WIRE JUDGE LEEDS 11 Wire Fox Terriers PD (0). JD (1) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Strike, this is a very striking dog with a lovely long lean balanced head, nice dark eye, nice well placed ears, good clean neck into well laid back shoulders, a short back with tail on top leaving plenty behind to give good quarters with plenty of drive, well let down hocks with good bone & feet. He has the correct depth of chest without being too broad or too lean, when standing he makes a nice picture of a good wire, he has a lovely wire jacket, level topline, he moves true all ways. I am sure he will get made up. CC. PGD (0). LD (1) 1 Lilley’s Wyregait Mister Right, a nice enough head with a dark eye, good neck, short back, nice tailset, plenty of bone, up to size. Moved OK. OD (2) 1 Frizell’s Brocolitia Devious with Cwngarws, a good headed dog with a dark eye, nice ears, the best of shoulders won him this class, short back. He has the best of coats, when he did settle he moved well. RCC; 2 Averis & de Munter-Uiterwijk’s Hannibal van Foliny Home, there is very little between 1 & 2 I just preferred the shoulders of 1. A nice head, good neck, short back, moved well. Trimmed & presented to the minute as are all this handler’s dogs. PB (2) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Total Design, a good headed puppy but she needs to settle her ears, nice neck & shoulders, is short enough with a good tailset & nice angulation, showing very well for her age, moved well this is one I shall watch out for. BP; 2 Arnold’s Brocolitia Desire Image, litter sister to 1 but not so far forward, good head & neck, longer cast than her sister & needs to settle, moved OK. JB (1) 1 Barrett’s Tyquin Arctic Fox, a nice head, I liked her construction, nice size, she has improved since I last saw her, lovely reach of neck, short back, good tailset, nice harsh coat, moves well, I am sure her day will come. PGB (5) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Perfect Fit, a good head with a lovely expression, long neck into good shoulders, nice level topline, moved well, a showy bitch that stood out in this class; 2 Clark & Browbank’s Whiptail Sea Of Stars, a balanced bitch with a good head & nice coat, she didn’t have the ring of 1, moved well; 3 Lilley’s Wyregait Reach For The Stars. LB (3) 1 Schoneberg’s Hollyday v d Schonenbergen, well presented short backed bitch, good head, moves soundly; 2 Wilkinson’s Travella Selection Box, a lovely headed bitch, nice dark eye, good ears, short back. Carrying far too much weight which spoilt her outline & front. What a shame. OB (3) 1 Schembri’s Travella Sky’s The Limit, outstanding bitch of quality, long lean head with a lovely dark varminty eye & nicely placed ears. Good length of neck flowing into well placed shoulders, short back, nice tailset, good spring of rib. Low set hocks which gave her drive along with her powerful quarters, moving true both ways, she has the best of wire coats, she shows well. CC, her first & BOB; 2 Pearce’s Alkninra Big Tease, unlucky to meet 1, not as good in head or as compact but still a good bitch in her own right, nice neck, front & spring of rib, moves well & well presented.
