FOX WIRE BIRMINGHAM DOG SHOW 11 Judge(s) MR PHILLIP HORSPOOL DCC HANKO VD SCHONEN BERGEN ( MR F W SCHONEBERG) Wire Fox Terriers PD 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Strike, a most promising compact young dog, smart outline, clean head, well placed ears, good typical dark eye, straight front, fair reach of neck, strong quarters, correct tailset. Obviously needs time to develop but everything is in the right place. Moved well. BP. JD 1 Frizell’s Brocolita Devious with Cwmgarws, an impressive well presented dog, scores in outline, lovely head & expression, good neck & shoulders, big spring of rib, with well developed quarters, moves straight & true. Requires a touch more development in body & with this I think he should really do well, seemed a little disinterested in the challenge, but I’m sure he’ll overcome that. PGD 1 Freeman’s Craigmancie Celtic Warrior at Wyaye, although not the finest of heads has a dark eye & neat ears, typical in outline, level topline with correct tailset, big spring of rib, moved OK. Not always wanting to co-operate with his handler. LD 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Tailormade, a squarely made well balanced dog, liked his size & type, typical expression, correct make & shape, moved with drive; 2 Coutt’s Brocolitia Talk O The North, an all round honest type of dog, plenty of substance, pleasing dark eye, good mouth, good level topline, harsh coat, handled well. OD 1 Schoneberg’s Hanko vd Schonen Bergen, a hound marked dog with a pleasing outline & stance, typical in head with keen expression, in good coat & condition, moved with drive, showed well. CC; 2 Nixon’s Willowyre Wild About Me, well constructed one who was well presented, fair reach of neck, well laid shoulders, level topline, good tailset, masculine head, moved soundly. Just lacked the animation of 1 hence RCC; 3 Dyson’s Arngeirr Aramis at Davwen. PB 1 Nixon’s Willowyre Wish Upon A Star, most appealing young bitch with lovely proportions, topline & movement, excelled in coat & condition. Not showing herself to the best advantage when challenging for BP; 2 Barrett’s Tyquin Artic Fox, lots of style & class, typical head & ears, deep short body, beautiful outline, showed well. JB 1 Maughan’s Brolslitia Perfect Fit, pretty marked one, appealed for her feminine outline, pleasing head although ears need to settle. Good front, deep short body with correct tailset. Just needs time to mature; 2 Dyson’s Gallianta Dream A Dream, nice type of bitch, typical harsh coat, nice outline, dark eye, level topline, good tailset. Didn’t perform on the move. PGB Both nice Wires neither giving their best here. 1 Allen’s Beemaid Thunderbay at Travella, nice sized attractive marked bitch, feminine head & expression, liked her nature & shape, moved well. Not too happy with the surroundings; 2 Wiggin’s Cradleydale Alexis, very attractive bitch with lots to like about her, with many qualities, slightly longer cast than 1 & unfortunately did not settle on the move. LB 1 Schonebere’s Hollyday vd Schonen Bergen, a classy bitch, liked her compact body, lovely head & expression, has a fair reach of neck with deep short body, strong developed quarters, in very good form, moved straight, showed well; 2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Misteeque, a sound bitch, of a smaller stature, pleasing in outline. Not the animation of 1. OB 1 Wurtzburg’s Blackdale Gaelic Dream of Russmews, a squarely made feminine one with most of the essentials, loved her head & expression, good reach of neck & well laid shoulders, deep short body, good tailset & quarters, moves straight, showed well once settled; 2 De Munter & Uiterwijk’s Ginagee van Foliny, a stylish heavily marked one who also was in top condition, appealing outline, good in conformation & movement, pushed 1 all the way, expertly handled.
