FOX WIRE JUDGE BATH 14

Wire Fox Terriers

I would like to thank the officers & committee for giving me the opportunity to judge this wonderful breed, WFT have always drawn me to them like a magnet, I was really looking forward to this appointment & thoroughly enjoyed the breed at this prestigious & beautiful show.

PD (1)

1 BP & PG4, Hunt’s Dominus Draughtsman, very nice type, coming together well. Good head & eye, short back with plenty behind the tail, moved well.

JD (2)

1 & RCC, Adshead & Pearce’s Shoalhill Galahad, good young dog who scored over 2nd in head, short back, well ribbed, good tailset, moved well, well handled;

2 Jones & Forman’s Travella Big Impact at Maidfern, still at the teenager stage & I am sure will settle with time.

PGD (2,1a)

1 Neal’s Selvina Leading Centaur, well presented young male with nice head & body, moved a little close behind.

LD (1)

1 Lilley’s Wyregait Number One Guy, nice head & eye, good neck & shoulders, well bodied, good tailset, did not seem to like the wet conditions.

OD (1)

1 Frost’s Travella Set The Trend, took my eye when he entered the ring this dog was presented so well & trimmed to perfection. He has a long clean head with a wicked expressive eye, neat ears, beautiful neck & shoulders, short back, good tailset with plenty of dog behind the tail. To watch him move around the ring was a joy, pleased to award him BOB & to watch him take G4, very well handled.

PB (0).

JB (3)

1 Westwood’s Nethertonion Pendant, well presented young bitch with lots to like about her. Good head, eye & front assembly, short back, well muscled & moved well;

2 Pearce, Hughes & Hill’s Alkinra Rough Diamond, nothing rough about her, she has a lovely crisp jacket, pleasing head & expression, good body, moved well;

3 Jones & Forman’s Goldcox Special Lady with Maidfern.

PGB (3,1)

1 Pearce’s Alkinra Pepper Pot, another quality bitch, good head, neck & shoulders, well muscled rear end just did not like the rain, & I agree with her;

2 Dipple’s Travella Some Quest, nice type but not the head of winner, moved a little close behind.

LB (4,1)

1 Cadez’s Hermione De Cresecques, what a pretty bitch this is with a lovely clean, long head & a small wicked eye, short back with a good rib, well set on tail with plenty behind. She takes over the ring when she moves she is so sound I was very pleased to award her her 1st CC;

2 Westwood’s Heart Beat at Nethertonion, beautiful headed bitch with neat ears, good body, played her handler up on the move;

3 Pearce’s Alkinra Only Time.

OB (4)

1 RCC, O’Donoghue’s Ir Ch Blackdale Julie, very well presented & handled, a stylish bitch, moved well just preferred the head of my CC winner;

2 Schoneberg’s Leonie vd Schonenbergen, this young bitch gave her handler a hard time, when asked to move she took to bunny hopping around the ring. Such a shame because she is a nice make & shape;

3 Barrett’s Tyquin Arctic Fox.
