R & BUTCHER Mr R G & Mrs C A Forgevale Dream Princess FOX SMOOTH JUDGE WINDSOR 14 Fox Terriers I would like to thank Windsor for inviting me to judge the Fox Terriers. This is always a lovely show & set in Home Park looking up at the castle makes it such a nice setting. Also thank you to all those who gave me an entry. Smooth Fox Terriers V (2) 1 Saunders’ Star Turn of Galleyshine, 12 year old bitch, lovely head, good for her age being happy & in good form, still very sound & moved well; 2 Chalker’s Rio’s Sparkling Snowflake, 9 year old bitch, not quite in such good form as 1 but looked well in herself & moved OK. PD (4) 1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Frostbite, a smart puppy, up to size, lovely head, correctly placed ears, short back with tail well set on top, moved & showed well, very sound; 2 Turley’s Tamedale Beethoven, a longer case than 1, nice head & eye, good feet & strong bone, moved well; 3 Anderson’s Nisyros Cruise Control. JD (5) 1 Mullen’s Chezatree The Show Must Go On at Tamadan, well proportioned dog of good structure, super head & eye, ears placed correctly, nice short back, moved well both directions; 2 Knight’s Equifox Polar Bear at Angolcroft, an almost white dog, good head with small dark eye, short back, very good tight feet, moved OK; 3 Saunders’ Galleyshine Black Emperor. PGD (2) 1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Rumour Has It, up to size, in good proportion, nice head, dark eye, could have used his ears a little more, strong legs leading into good neat feet, moved well both ways; 2 Savini’s Star Pride Instant Magic, another dog up to size, lovely shaped head, small dark eye, good shoulders leading to short back, would have liked more angulation from behind. LD (3,1a) 1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Galileo, a young dog full of quality, striking to the eye with plenty of presence, standing firm & square, lovely head with good expression with nice dark eye, ears placed correctly, shoulders lying back into short back with plenty behind the tail which was well on top, super neat feet, moved OK, a young dog with a great future; 2 Clifford’s Migley Llywelyn, a longer case than 1, nice head, dark eye, good shoulders, strong legs & good feet, moved OK; 3 Zetamaz Gossip Column. OD (8,1) 1 Gorrish & Coad’s Am Ch Absolutely Out Of Sight, a striking looking dog in correct proportion, full of quality, lovely head, small dark eyes, neat ears giving good expression, nice length of neck lying into good shoulders, short back, strong quarters with tail well on top, moved true coming & going, shown in perfect condition with excellent presentation. CC; 2 Schoneberg’s Konrad vd Schonenbergen, another quality dog, quite heavily marked, lovely head, small dark eye, correctly placed ears with a pleasant expression. Good shoulders, short back, sound movement both ways, presented & handled well. RCC; 3 Carlo’s Aus Ch Graebrook It Takes A Thief. GC (3) I am pleased that shows are now including a class for those who have obtained their bronze certificate in this scheme. 1 Rogers’ Falkmere’s First Impression, well behaved bitch, lovely nature, very feminine, a pleasure to go over; 2 Savin’s Star Pride Gorgeous, a dog up to size, not quite on his best form today but settled on the move. PB (3) 1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Thunderclap Macphee by Glendraterra, well developed smart feminine puppy, super head & skull, ears well placed, good neat feet, moved well & in good condition. BP; 2 Brooks’ Zetamaz Winters Tail, longer case than 1, nice head & ears, moved well when she settled; 3 Mullan’s Nisyros Climate Control. JB (3) 1 Morris’ Sanamaris So What, very striking feminine bitch with head to match, sweet personality, short back, tail well on top, moved OK; 2 Saunders’ Galleyshine Black Pearl, nice structured bitch, well let down with feminine head, good eye, would like more angulation, needs to settle; 3 Robertson’s Equifox Precious Petal. PGB (1) 1 Robertson’s Equifox Silver Stargazer, pleasant feminine head, good body, would like to see more angulation, claws need attention. LB (6) 1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Suzi Kew, striking bitch who catches the eye, standing square, lovely head, dark eyes, ears placed correctly, short back with tail on top, moved well but would love to see a little more freedom from the shoulders. RCC; 2 Horspool’s Adaires Delamarr, lovely feminine head with dark eye giving nice expression, a little longer case than 1, moved well both ways; 3 Hughs & Butcher’s Forgevale Simply A Dream. OB (6,2) An interesting class to judge with different types present. 1 Hughs & Butcher’s Forgevale Dream Princess, a super eyecatching bitch of correct size, very feminine head with dark bright eye, neat ears, laid back shoulders, short back with tail well on top, very neat feet, moved well both ways, she had attention to her handler the whole time being alert with so much expression. CC & BOB; 2 Brooks’ Ch Dobelands Hot Totty at Zetamaz, another lovely feminine bitch, good head, eye with lovely expression, short back, well let down in body, moved OK; 3 Mohrke’s Lux/CZ/Dan/Ger Ch Prada vd Bismarckquelle.
