FOX SMOOTH WELSH KC 11 Judge: Mr J Luscott FOX SMOOTH WELSH KC 11 Smooth Fox Terriers MPD (0). PD (4) 1 Feltham & Wilson’s Lizoni Cadellins Romance, lovely head & balance, has the shape with clean neck, short back, level topline, has the tailset, attracts in length of head & has the reach on the move; 2 Thornton, Bebbington & Boon’s Glendraterra Fredi Mercury, impressive young boy with great potential, good balance in a head & neck of the right type. Not quite the topline. Strong rearquarters with the reach & positive drive on the move, one to watch; 3 Morris’ Sanamaris Seventy Seven. JD (2) 1 Morris’ Sanamaris Sweet Talker, balanced in head & ear with the front, rear & good shoulders, stands well over the ground, alert & alive, moving well with rear action, has the bone & strength. BP; 2 Hall’s Gosel Earl Grey, well built in body & muscle, has the head, eye & earset, good neck & going with a sense of purpose. Just a bit more to mature & fill in topline. PGD (3) 1 Hall’s Gosel Ceylonesse, strong boy with the head balance & neck, good chest, rib & overall power in rearquarters, good behind the tail which is well set & moving to please with nice stride; 2 Marston’s Chipstead Hermes, pleasing youngster developing in body & shape, good front & rear quarters, has the head. Would like a little more strength in jaw. Moved easily in side gait, needs to tighten behind. LD (4) 1 Turner’s Rotur Celtic Dream, strong powerful boy with the shape, balance & outline, good over head & earset, deep chest, strong topline, good muscled rearend. Just not quite the action in front in the end decision, good mover in side gait; 2 Hughes & Butcher’s Forgevale Sea The Stars, impressive in overall outline & with the potential, has the head type, eye & jaw. Not quite settled in ear. Has the neck & topline, good on the move & muscle developing well; 3 Brookes’ Mischief In Disguise for Zetamaz. OD (6) Strong class. 1 Lewis’ Dobelands Silent Dagger, smart, alert, active & powerful young man with the head balance skull to muzzle, jaw & earset, clean neck set on good shoulders, short strong topline, balanced in body & muscular rearend, true in front & rear movement, went well in side action, driving from the rear, well handled to take the class, CC & BOB; 2 Barker & Delmar’s Ir Ch Shillelagh Ushaka, strong lad with the balance to head & body, has the build in chest, body & rib with muscle & strength in rearquarters, going well at the backend but not quite the front reach of 1 & this told in the end decision. RCC; 3 Griffiths & Jones’ Yoxella Whistle And Flute with Darfaur. MPB (1) 1 Averis’ Saredon Ebony And Ivory, lovely type youngster with the balance & outline required, good over withers & topline, has the alert & attentive head with the skull & muzzle, developing in body & chest, good tailset, nice mover at this stage. BPB. PB (0). JB (1) 1 Marston’s Chipstead Hera, good shape & attitude greets you on this girl, has the stamp, good over head & neck, liked her style & balance, goes well on the move front & rear, promising girl. PGB (2) 1 Hughes & Butcher’s Forgevale Simply Stunning, impressive with the type, attitude, outline & balance, good in head & earset, has that alive & alert outlook, bright eye & using the expression well, has the body, rib, topline & tailset with lots behind, strong quarters, has the action & movement, pushed hard in the challenge taking RCC; 2 Lewis’ Dobelands Hot Totty, lovely shape & balance, not quite the muscle strength of 1 but has the spark, neck, chest & front, nice rearquarters, moving with the action, balanced in head & working with her handler. LB (5) Competitive class. 1 Hall’s Glendraterra Dawn Chorus with Gosel, active & lively girl, has the shape, topline & balance with work behind the tail, true in front & rear with good angles, chest & body, typical head, holds the tailset well, has the outline & moves easily; 2 Hughes’ Forgevale Fourstar, good strength & shape in head & strong jaw, good balance & overall size, carries a typical body, short with strength, rib & loin, strong rearquarters, going well in side action but not quite front movement of 1; 3 Griffiths’ Yoxella Welsh Gold. OB (3) 1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Dawn To Dusk, exciting, on her toes, active & alert to all around her, this strong well muscled girl has the shape, balance & set, powerful topline & loin, typical head with ear shape & set, powerful jaw, clean neck, good quarters front & rear, has the chest, body & rearquarters, moved OK when she wanted to, was lively & on her toes in expectation, to take CC; 2 Wilson’s Lizoni Shadow Dancer, likeable bitch with slightly more rangy outline at this stage, slightly longer cast, but has the head, neck & rearend, still developing in chest & topline, moves well front, rear & side action; 3 Saunders’ Galleyshine Secret Love.
