Many thanks to the secretary and committee for inviting me to judge my first appointment with CCs. I had two efficient helpful stewards which made the ring flow smoothly. It made my day when my best of breed went on to win the terrier group. Thank you to the exhibitors for your entry, it was a privilege to go over your dogs.

1 Wilberg’s Kanix Roger – Eyecatching young male of correct size, excels in profile and breed type. Loved his balanced outline and shape. He has a real quality with beautiful head and expression, well laid shoulders, good spring of rib, perfect topline, short back and good tailset, full of terrier spirit, he moved with enthusiasm and drive. Best Puppy. Pleased to award him his first CC.

1 Morris’ Sanamaris Stoker – Heavier built up to size dog with strong bone, good length of neck, straight front, level topline, in excellent coat and condition, would prefer a more refined head and more animation on the move.

1 Hughes, Osborne & McKenna’s Forgevale Top Gun – t/w of good size, with pleasing expression and well set ears. Good neck. Well placed shoulders. A tad long in profile, well ribbed, good tailset. Excellent coat and condition. Moved true, but needs to move with more drive.

1 Brookes’ Zetamaz I’m Your Man JW – quality dog with lovely head and expression, neat ears, well placed shoulders, good reach of neck, short coupled, powerful quarters and correct set on, up on his toes, alert and showed well, moved true both ways RCC

2 Schonenberg’s Hemmingway vom Ernstthal – 4 year old attractive t/w dog, looked impressive in profile, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, firm topline, excellent tailset, in lovely coat and condition. Would prefer a flatter skull and to be more positive in rear movement

1 Morris’ Sanamaris Serena – t/w of correct size and of nice type, well off for bone, she has an attractive head, well set ears and keen alert expression. Straight front, well placed shoulders, good depth of body, firm topline, excellent rear and tailset, moved well when settled

2 Kettle’s Foxindean Radio Ga Ga – well balanced heavily marked bitch of finer build, lovely dark eye and keen expression, good neck, straight front, firm topline, excellent coat quality, moved steadily

3rd Rogers’ Lunafox Gentle Touch

1 Griffiths’ Yoxella Well In Touch – attractive well balanced bitch of quality presenting a lovely outline. Good bone and substance. Pleasing head with good proportions, well set ears, pleasing through neck and shoulders, level topline, good body shape, excellent tailset, moved ok, well handled

2 Brookes’ Zetamaz Maraschino – Smart bitch of nice type, long clean head, lovely neck and shoulders, good depth of chest, short coupled, good topline and tailset, in excellent coat and condition, showed and moved well when settled

3 Marston’s Chipstead Petal

1st Wilberg’s Ch Kanix Quickstep – well constructed top quality bitch, full of elegance, she has a super head with keen expression, well laid shoulders, good spring of rib, short coupled body, well angulated rear with perfect tailset, looking stunning in profile. I was privileged to go over her, a credit to the breed, she put in a great performance, commanding attention, moving well covering the ground with ease, so well handled CC, BOB, G1. Congratulations.

2 Tully’s Zetamaz Chasing Rainbows at Fincham – eyecatching well made bitch of good breed type, lovely head and neck, good front and shoulders, she could be firmer in topline, but has good overall proportions and balance. She showed and covered the ground well on the move, showed with great attitude and temperament RCC

3 Griffiths & Weiss’ Yoxella Whoa Black Betty

1 McFadden’s Glendraterra Blithe Spirit – seven year old bitch of ideal size, pretty head and expression, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, short loin, a bit reluctant on the move but showed to advantage to by her young handler, excellent coat and condition
