Res CC

1st: THORNTON, Mrs J, BEBBINGTON, Mr J R & BOON Mr & M Glendraterra Fredi Mercury, outstanding puppy full of his own importance showing non-stop and very alert, beautiful overall picture with long neck merging into well-laid shoulders, short level back, head of good length, dark eye, ears a little heavy, great tail-set and dead perfect rear and quarters giving excellent drive on the move. Very true mover in all directions. Looked a picture standing freely and I had no hesitation awarding him the CC and BOB. Delighted to see him shortlisted in the group where he put on a faultless performance.

2nd: FELTHAM, Ms P & WILSON Mrs A Lizoni Cadellins Romance, another good puppy but wider in front and head could be cleaner, very good body, tail set and quarters, moved well and presented in good order

Large variation in type & overall balance in this class

1st:HORLOCK Mrs L & Mr N Ranlock Portman, masculine dog with good head and expression, good length of neck, sound legs & feet, ok behind, would have liked him shorter in back. Good mover

2nd: BROOKES Mr A J & Mrs M Mischief In Disguise for Zetamaz Sh.CM, shorter in back than the winner but thicker all through and too wide in front, sound behind, fair head, a little heavy in ears, moved and showed really well.

3rd: GOODLEY Miss S L Tuskenraider Skywalker

Res: CHALKER Mrs R Cario Dixi Moy

Yet another class with dogs of vastly different types

1st: BROOKES Mr A J & Mrs M Dobelands Touch of Frost at Zetamaz, eye-catching dog of excellent size, very good body and rear, short back, excellent topline, could do with a bit more quality in head and he is rather wide in front, true mover making the most of himself in the ring, well-presented

2nd: RICHARDSON Mrs D & Miss J Glendraterra Pied Piper, excellent type of Smooth with pleasing outline, very good head and front, not so short in back and ears could be tidier, also hind-movement, but nonetheless a dog of very good overall balance and type

3rd: BARKER & DELMAR Messrs Ch Ir Ch Shillelagh Ushaka (Imp)

1st: JONES Mr K & SMITH Dr JW Darlaur Dyma Fi, pretty bitch puppy who needs to grow on, good head and eye, very sound behind with good set-on of tail, excellent neck and topline, appeared a little low on the legs and she is rather wide in front, showed really well for one so young

JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: ROGERS Mr N & Mrs C Falkmere's First Impression, good type andsize, pleasing head, eyes could be darker and I would have preferred moreangulation fore and aft, short back, good body, moved well

2nd: ROBERTSON Miss V Equifox Silvery Moonlight, too fine all over and head rather snipey with one ear carried badly, short back, level top, good tail set, fine in bone. Excellent temperament

PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: BROOKES Mr A J & Mrs M Dobelands Giggle and Gossip at Zetamaz, feminine pretty bitch, a little fine in bone and muzzle could have more strength, good shoulders, sound rear, short back, moved well

2nd: ROBERTSON Miss V Equifox Silver Stargazer, clean head of good length, dark eye, very light in bone and tail set too low, fair body, good temperament, not moving to advantage here today and ears need to settle

LB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: CLIFFORD Mrs M G Migley Audrey, strongly made bitch whose type reminded me of the famous Newmaidleys of years gone by, good front, neck & shoulders, level back, excellent tail-set and rear, head could have more quality and she is not ultra-short in back, typical mover

2nd: SAUNDERS Miss M E Galleyshine Secret Love, feminine with pleasing outline, but rather fine in bone and body and head could have more strength in muzzle, showed well, short level back

3rd: CHALKER Mrs R Rio's Sparkling Snowflake

OB (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: THORNTON, Mrs J & BEBBINGTON Mr J R Glendraterra Dawn To Dusk, gassy bitch showing her socks off and an easy winner here today, lovely overall balance and outline, clean neck, good body, short back, excellent rear and tail-set, feminine head, stands a little wide in front sometimes, but her movement is very true both coming and going, presented to best advantage and was a comfortable winner of the bitch CC.

2nd: GRIFFITHS Ms J M Yoxella Welsh Gold, this bitch has a lot to like about her despite a dippy poor topline , very good head, ears and expression, lovely legs and feet, excellent tail set, could do with more angulation behind and better drive on the move, but her overall type impressed. Res CC

3rd: WILSON Mrs A Lizoni Shadow Dancer
